Non-existing customer service. The one time password never reaches your email. They claim that they will reach you before the contract ends, but this never happened now I am paying one additional month. This is very disgusting. The concept is good and really sustainable, but the practicality of this concept is a scam

As for the subscription: it’s clearly explained during each step of the sign-up process, and the auto-renewal is always visible and can be turned off at any time from your account space. If the renewal occurred recently and no paid features have been used, we’ll be glad to review your request and provide a refund if applicable.

We've been on Nomador for 2 months and have had 2 house/pet sits so far. The families whose homes and pets we will be looking after seem very friendly and trusting. And it appears that they have beautiful houses with pools! It wasn't easy to get our first sit as the popular houses get a lot of applications. It took 13 applications before we had success. The platform and support have been excellent.
I will update this review after our first house sit experience.
27.8.25 Update
We've just finished our 3rd house sit and we've had 3 amazing experiences so far. It has been lovely to meet new families and then look after their house and pets, especially for our kids who have never had pets before. It's an enriching human experience. Thank you Nomador and the community of great humans you've attracted.
We can't wait for our next house sit and can see ourselves doing this regularly. It's a totally a different experience to staying in an Air BnB or a hotel or at a camping place. So much more enriching human experience.

They are true animal lovers. You can feel it as soon as you meet them. And I totally trusted them right from the beginning.
Plus, they had to deal with unexpected events at my place, and a last minute injury on my dog just before I left…..
They were so good at it and relay comprehensive with the situation.

Early either personal contact or by video conference
The non-commercial relation of owners and house-sitters managed by the platform and guidelines of Nomador. Safe, reliable and verified partnerships moderated by a controlled exchange of sensible information about people and their properties that is recommended to contact either personal or virtual by video conference in its final step.

I've used Nomador several times. Always an easy and happy experience, with the exception of once when the homeowner cut short my catsitting suddenly which caused a lot of inconvenience, and I was unable to leave a negative review according to Nomador' rules. It's best to have a plan b. But as for the way the site is run, in general, it's been great and very useful.
Nomador has potential but it's not as reliable as i hoped. Some hosts cancel at the last minute leaving you stuck. The platform should do more to protect sitters from unreliable listings. It's okay but not my first choice.

Please know that last-minute cancellations by hosts, when not justified by exceptional circumstances, are taken very seriously by our moderation team. In some cases, they can lead to a definitive suspension of the account. Reliability and mutual respect are key to how Nomador works, and we’re committed to upholding those values.
We’ve also introduced an optional cancellation protection service in some of our subscription plans. This helps cover unexpected costs (such as accommodation or transportation) in case a host cancels. It’s one of the ways we aim to better support our members when rare disruptions happen.
We're continuously working to improve the platform, strengthen trust within the community, and provide the best possible experience to both sitters and hosts.

I really wanted Nomador to be a solution for free travel but I've had a hard time finding good opportunities. Most of the listings are far from where I want to go. Theplatform is also a bit confusing to navigate and I didn't get much help from customer support. Not sure it's worth the time
