For “boxofficeticketsales”. Charged me an outrageous fee for local symphony tickets. More than double what the price was. Service fees of 24%+. They were top on googles list for my local symphony tickets which was an advertisement. I fell for it. I got ripped off. Do not use. Shopperapproved site is a scam with no visible chance for me to leave a review of outrageous ticket company. Buyer beware. When I tried to call back they put me on hold for 20 mins and never picked up. I disputed on my credit card.

The ticket industry operates largely on a secondary marketplace made up of many independent sellers. These providers often rely heavily on paid advertising, which is why additional fees are commonly added to ticket prices. While it’s not ideal, it’s a standard part of how the industry functions.
Regarding reviews—if you made a purchase, the review request will come from us, not the ticket seller. That’s because we independently send surveys to verified customers to ensure reviews are authentic.
The ticket company does not control who receives a review request. This is intentional, and it’s what separates verified review platforms like ours from open platforms where anyone can leave feedback.
If your order was canceled or a chargeback was issued, whether you receive a review request depends on whether that cancellation is reported to our system. In most cases, customers who completed a purchase will receive a survey email—typically labeled “delivery confirmation.”

It appears Shopper Approved is a company-centric service, not public-centric. They ONLY allow reviews from people who get invitations from participating companies. If an order is fulfilled well (by the company's judgment), then and ONLY then will a customer get the invite. But if a company fumbles or outright fails...no invite. So of course, the ratings are gamed from the get-go. I'll never trust anything Shopper Approved says. Never.
