Not not designed for non residents who live overseas with US income

Not designed for non residents who live overseas with US income such as rentals. It is intended for students or non residents with visas living in the US. The chat support is useless and frustrating. Also the interface is confusing, not user friendly and does not provide options unless you live in the US. Wound up using TaxAct which has an easy 1040NR and was an absolute dream by comparison.

Very Helpful, but Taxes Should Be Made Easier, in General

The sprintax tax questionnaire is very good and facilitates the tax return process enormously. The sprintax customer support, however, is great. My questions were all answered quickly and thoroughly. I don't know much about this whole topic and found a lot of assistance here. My main sprintax advisor was Mark Valentine and I am a Fulbright IIE participant. I used sprintax because it was covered for me. If this would not have been the case, I would not have used it. Possibly there are also many other good ressources to find answers regarding the tax return process. Furthermore, I think the whole process should be organized in an easier way. Here, political adjustments could be made.

They are amazingly irresponsible

They are amazingly irresponsible. I've submitted information for state tax return filing in April 4, but haven't got the form ready by April 15. They refused to refund. There is no explicit disclosure that state tax return will take 5 business day to prepare before you pay, and they even failed to deliver within "what they promised" 5 working days. I had to prepare for my state tax return by myself at the very last minute - which was extremely distressful. There customer service was also abnormally horrible. What they care is to make you up to payment, and that's all. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible service. I'll never use it again, and hope nobody goes through similar experience.

Mark Valentine is the absolute best! He helped me fix my Sprintax issue incredibly fast and made the whole process so smooth. I really appreciate his amazing support! I've interacted with other agents, but this guy is the best by far.

They are not able to support the number…

They are not able to support the number of requests they receive. I have been waiting for 4 days for my forms and the deadline is tomorrow and yet they won't tell me if they will or will not have it ready for me in time. They have no one you can talk to over the phone. If you can't support more than a certain number of people then don't take their money.

Disappointing Experience

They are not understanding personal circumstances. Sprintax did not disclose that in case of the IRS not accepting my efile, I would have to pay an additional $40 (on top of $140 for Sprintax) to mail my documents. This is absolutely ridiculous. I should have went to an in person appointment. They do everything for you and I would have saved $50. Very disappointing experiences.

Terrible service in live chat

Valentin Ganev answered my question like 10 second and closed the chat he did not read my respond that I sent after his response in like 30 seconds He has a good job where he can get easy money by just ignoring customers After this I got routed to Ai chat bot and had to wait another 30+ minutes

It was one of the worst experiences i've ever had in my life. For a 455 dollars tax refund (j-1 work and travel) i've payed 100 dollars for sprintax and since sprintax doesn't support e-file for non-residents like me, i payed 150 dollars for global delivery of my documents. We are living in 2026 and you guys still expect me to pay 250 dollars for a proccess i can deal with a 20 dollars ai subscription (I understand 150 dollars for delivery is not for sprintax but sprintax left me no option other than this since there is no e-filing). Only reason i was doing my tax filing with sprintax is because its the only legit way for j-1 students like be but it was a nightmare. Hope i will never have to use sprintax ever again

Great customer service

Good, but chatbot bad

The chatbot wasn't very helpful. But once I got through to a person to speak to it was easy, Alexander Nedelchev, was who helped me and he was excellent.
