Had learner’s insurance had to 150 pound to cancel it, unsure guidance towards that. Feels almost scammy, I feel for a 17 year old that is trying to pass there driving test. Emails also were unprofessional with incorrect spellings and obvious copy and paste that was poorly done. Horrible time with Sterling

Easy to get through to a representative…

Easy to get through to a representative who speak English without an accent. Knowledgeable staff deal with you quickly and we can always add friends to our car insurance for short periods.

Bandits

Very difficult to get hold of them. On cancelling the policy the refund of premium is ridiculously small. Charges for set up, commission, exit, etc leaves a very small return of premium even though the policy was in force for a small length of time. These charges are bordering on fraud (the intentional act of deceit)! Not recommended!!

The operator I spoke to was very nice, friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and clear so was a pleasure to speak with. Stirling insurance offered me the best price and saved me a small fortune so I took some of it and bought a beautiful boquet of flowers for my wife. Thank you Stirling from both of us.

The only 'experience' which matters is a CLAIM

Sterling Insurance want you to review how good it was simply to buy a policy from them. Well, to be perfectly honest, that's the easy bit. My advice is to only write a full review of an insurer after you have actually experienced making a claim with them.

Living abroad and trying to renew my car insurance in the Uk was extremely difficult until I called Sterling Insurance. A young gentleman named Aidan was sympathetic, patient, understanding and knowledgeable. I had my insurance and extras I needed in a very short time. Everything was explained and documents sent. Follow up calls to check everything was correct were also by courteous helpful people.
