It would be 5 stars but every time I tried to order Waverly or Golden Age tuners for slotted headstocks advertised with white or Ivoroid knobs I was redirected to metal knobs with no explanation. Surely they didn’t sell out in a couple of hours.

StewMac has a policy of satisfaction guaranteed, no questions asked for any reason. I have been a StewMac customer for many years, and have had a few rare occasions to use their policy. No company is perfect. But their policy has always been followed, even when the issue may have been my doing, and I offered to split the bill. So I’d say StewMac is a close to an honest, reliable, customer-oriented company as you will find.

Although a great resource
Although a great resource, I’ve had to use others due to the fact that what I needed was out of stock. Kinda disappointed about having gone through the extra expense of signing up for StewMax only to find that the supplies are not available. I even requested an email alerting me when they were available and realized that once they became available , I got no notification at all.

Doing it right, ALL THE TIME
I have ordered parts fro making guitars from StewMac for years. I always get good quality parts with a fast delivery at a fair price. My last order included a buffing wheel rake. When it arrived, it was rusted. I sent an email to StewMac and they immediately, without hesitation, issued another order that same day... within minutes. I’m currently scratch building a Tele style guitar and I’m enjoying the journey. I’ve built guitar kits in the past using StewMac products but now I’m taking it up a notch. Most all of the luthier tools and materials I’m using for the build come from StewMac. Im expressed with the quality of their products as well as their cleverly designed tools and accessories.
