We bought Zoho One for the breadth of the suite. In practice the breadth is unusable - the accounting app has no traction with accountants, so we stayed on QuickBooks; several apps (Inventory particularly) are clunky enough that we didn't adopt them. We ended up using a fraction of what we paid for. Then the renewal came in 48% higher, with no negotiation, despite pre-purchase assurances that increases would be negligible. And when we tried to add a single user to a single app, we were told the plan requires another full licence.

Great on their system webpages, but plagued with low-effort coding when integrated with other email/contacts services. Don't even bother with zoho sites unless you are ready to css and javascript code for yourself. (One.com is better for low- skill-level webpages. Get ready for plenty of clicks for editing text and objects on Sites.) Zoho Bigin and Zoho CRM works fine until you actually want to get your contacts on Outlook on windows 11 as a local install, you can only see contacts created on their systems when logged into the outlook web portal. The Zoho mail app is scarfed at the company I work at now too because we need to be able to see how many emails have arrived in both our personal and shared inboxes! You have to flip between completely separate pages to check them both. I've spent 6 tickets on tracking down the reasons why contacts won't sync, why our outlook CRM plugin doesn't allow creation of tasks related to a case (unresolved), why boss' account can't preview files on his laptop across all browsers on zoho Workdrive while my account does just fine... etc, etc, etc. CRM support? 5 Stars. CRM module configuration/ flexibility? 5 stars. Ease of use? 2 stars. Actual experience using a web app that would have rocked in 2019 now in 2026? Rather painful.
