All was good. Regular communications from Ivy Yang re our planned itinerary which included 5-day Tibet trip plus a couple of long distance train reservations, which can only be made in 15 days prior to travel. Lhasa hotel (Lagari) was 4-star with breakfast and way above what we expected.
Tibet trip had excellent driver and guide (Sunny) and a busy schedule, though we opted on middle day to wander round Lhasa ourselves rather than visit Sera Monastery, having visited two monasteries already in the previous 24 hours. The monastery on way back from Yamdrok Lake was best temple visit, though was not heavily advertised. All in all, a good experience with Asia Odyssey Travel.

Our tour coordinator, Runny must be commended for her efficiency and great patience. She had put up with our group of 60+ years old travellers with very prompt responses to our queries and requests almost at any time of the day. During our trip in Jiuzhaigou, we made a last minute request to her to change our train tickets to a later time and she did it immediately without any fuss. She even checked that all is well with us before we took the later train. Tour guide Oliver has also taken care of us very well throughout our travel. To sum it up, we have a great holiday with Asia Odyssey Travel. Will recommend to friends who don't mind paying more than the average tour price to get a good experience.

Our Tibet journey organized by Isaac and guided by Tashi was exceptional from start to finish. Isaac handled every logistical detail with remarkable precision — permits, altitude planning, hotel coordination, and the complex West Tibet routing were all arranged flawlessly. His communication was fast, clear, and reassuring, making a demanding itinerary feel effortless.

My wife and I booked a private tip of 4 days to Zhangjiajie with Asia Odissey. The trip was organized by Fox, and everything went perfectly. He arranged also our arrival and departure transfers, tickets for all attr and punctuals driver and guide, and even assisted us with our train transfers and helped to solve any issues. Booked a 10 day tour of Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai and had a wonderful time.
Our travel agent Karen was kind, professional, quick to respond and very thorough in answering all our questions and concerns. Our local guides (Neil, Kim, Jenny and Jan) were all wonderful, informative, welcoming and were able to give great recommendations for additional activities outside our itinerary.
Our one complaint was that the hotel quality seemed to vary. Our hotel in Shanghai, while having the largest room, was old and outdated and had a subpar breakfast buffet.
Overall, this was a great experience and we would definitely want to book another tour with Asia Odyssey Travel.

I recently joined a tour group to Xi Zang China organized by Asia Odyssey travel. The trip was excellent, I have seen the tallest mountain on earth, trek around Mount Kailash, visited different Monasteries, explored Xi Zang's architectures, culture, and history.
