Avoca has followed through with us thru WeChat from Hangzhou to Huangshan making sure we got the right train and drivers were there to meet us, as this is our first visit to Hangzhou from 23 Sept 2026 to 29 Sept 2026 and everything was smoothly arranged. Both drivers were responsive and efficient. Working relationship and coordinations are above average.
William was very experience on all the places of visits while in Huangshan. Able to answer to all our questions promptly making sure we enjoy our trip. I wish to thank Odyssey Travel and Ms Ashley for their professionalism and planning in meeting our expectations.

I am back to Italy after my 15 days tour to China with AOT.
It was my first time to China and I loved everything about the tour.
The guides were prepared, nice, passionate about their job and explained us a lot of things about the places we have visited.
I fell in love with Chendgu and Zhangjiajie.
The hotels we stayed at were nice, especially in the last part of the trip and I loved that lunch was often included.

Booked a day excursion in Hong Kong. Donnie was very helpful at arranging what we needed/wanted to do as we were only there for such a short time we needed to make the most of the time we had (while managing tiredness off a long flight with no sleep and 2 small children!). We managed to do everything we wanted plus an extra thing and the tour guide Ivy was excellent, helpful and informative. Not the cheapest experience but when factoring in the tickets and hidden costs which were included and the efficiency of the guide Ivy wizzing us past queues and straight into places with pre-booked tickets and access it actually ended up much better value than I thought prior to going. I would definitely recommend it. We had a comfortable air conditioned minibus so felt very safe and taken care of. Perfect for an efficient tour of Hong Kong!

I booked a 6-day 5-night trip to Bhutan via Asia Odyssey Travel since it was my mother's wish to celebrate her 80th birthday in that beautiful country. Under the care and guidance of our travel consultant Ms. Ashley, the process, journey and experience ran smoothly from the moment we booked for the trip, landed in Paro airport, and up to the time we fly back to Manila, everything was well-organized. We had a good time on our tours.
However few things had to be addressed on tour before corrections were made.
1. They tried to stuff the whole group in a small size mini van, with no overhead compartment for hand luggage. The size of van is okay for city tours, but not for long haul tours. The probable was quickly addressed at first stop, we were transferred onto a big tour bus which was very comfortable for the duration of the tour.
2. Tried to book us into a local hotel with dark smelly moldy room. We refused to check-in and call the local rep. We were promptly transferred to a new hotel with a river view.
We strongly believe that if it weren’t for the complains, we were going to be stuck in a small van for 8 days and in that dark moldy room for 2 nights.
For a first class tour company, these things shouldn’t happen, client’s comfort and safety should be paramount.
Overall, a good tour company, we liked how quickly they handled the issues, but major details like this shouldn’t be overlooked. They should be standard for a company that promotes first class travel.

I just returned from a super memorable hiking trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, possible only because of the excellent planning and organization by the Asia Odyssey Travel Consultant Nicole Lu based in Chengdu, China. Nicole worked with me for 8 months to draft the itinerary for my hiking group of 9 and what’s amazing is that we got it done only via numerous email exchanges and 1 phone call. Tenzin (James) is a super experienced hiking guide who was excellent in showing us the beautiful sights and guiding us to navigate through the difficult and challenging terrain in Tiger Leaping Gorge and Qianhu Mountain hikes, Amy Du for showing us the wonderful scenary and sights at Yulong Snow Mountain and Blue Moon Valley and Scarlett for being so knowledgeable and resourceful in helping us navigate through the beautiful city of Dali. The individual guides were also very caring of us throughout our time with them and also worked closely with each other facilitating good communication between themselves to ensure smooth and seamless handover of the group as we transit between each city. Our group enjoyed the trip so much we intend to return with Asia Odyssey Travel again next year to trek other famous summits in China. My partner and I had an amazing experience in China from 17th to 27th July thanks to this company. Ashley, a senior rep, was always ready to help, even late at night. This summer, we travelled through Bhutan with Asia Odyssey Travel, and from the very first contact, our experience with Catherine Wang was nothing short of exceptional.
The communication was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and, above all, genuinely attentive. Catherine immediately gave us the confidence that we could entrust such a special journey to her. Although Asia Odyssey Travel was a travel company on the other side of the world and was initially unfamiliar to us, we never hesitated to place our trip in her hands.
Catherine tirelessly thought along with us and kept tweaking and refining the itinerary until it was exactly what we wanted. She really listened to our wishes and made us feel that this was *our* journey, rather than simply a standard itinerary.
And once we arrived in Bhutan, everything ran smoothly. Our guide, Sonam, and driver, Phub, went above and beyond to make our trip as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. We had a great time with our tour. Charles and his team really took good care of us specially Ken in Siquijor. They are very welcoming and friendly. They communicated with us throughout the whole tour, checking on us and making sure we are safe.
