I needed to replace my Indoor screen

I needed to replace my Indoor screen. When I went to set it up I was able to connect it with my computer with ease. It brought in all the settings. And connected to my cencers

NOT HAPPY & FRUSTRATED

I have tried to wait as long as I could to write this review, buy could not wait any longer. It has been a week since installing my Acurite Atlas. I upgraded from a no name brand to Acurite due to the good reviews about Acurite anothe reason was my old weather station would not connect to Weatherundeground. On Monday July 6th my desktop display lots wifi connection. I attempted numerous times to get it reconnected. I rebooted my router and modem, cleaned out all the cache, changed the 2.4 channel it was broadcasting on, attempted to connect the wifi from my ipad instead of my iphone, unplugged my router, modem and Acirite display, did a factory reset of the display and still no wifi connection. The display connects great to the sensors but not my wifi. Also right from the begining I was unable to connect my station to the Acurite NOW + app no matter how many times I tried it would not connect. Now I may not be an expert tech guy but I know my way around tech devices and have NO problems when it comes to that stuff. I also thought it was a subscription issue and ended up purchasing 2 subscriptions that I can not use. I have not contacted Acurite Tech support because they are going to tell me to do everything I have already done. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED AND NOT HAPPY!!!!!!! Update 07/10/2026 after several more hours of trying to conect to the wifi I discovered that my router port forwarding was toggled off. I turned it on and was able to connect to my wifi. I am still unable to connect my iphone and ipad to the Acurite Now + app and I did do the recommended Acurite forget password option and relogged back in with no success.

While the equipment is as expected, the new app stinks. Your old app was much better, don't force people to change until you make the new one a step forward instead of 3 steps back. Please feel free to contact me directly. Gary

The most disappointing service on earth. They used to have the best weather stations and interfaces. Not anymore! AcuriteNow is horrible Chinese outsourced junk. Subscription to send your data to Weather Underground. Avoid.

I upgraded to AcuRite Now

I upgraded to AcuRite Now, I couldn't get my equipment to migrate. I purchased new equipment and still couldn't migrate. I finally found information that the AcuRite Now app was not working. When I open the legacy AcuRite app it says to migrate. That message needs changed to reflect that AcuRite Now is not ready, or the message needs deleted. I spent money that I did not have to spend.

I had higher expectations than you've delivered

I expected to see everything on the local display to be available remotely on the app. Indoor information being unavailable is disappointing. Your app is crude in today's market. Making the unit available for weather underground with limited information is an insult. The precipitation numbers, dew point, barometric pressure not displaying on wu website is a problem. My expectations were a lot higher than you've delivered.

Long lasting products

Great products, still waiting for the "new app" to have the full feature set the old one has. Would have been 4 or 5 stars but my order arrived incomplete, thankfully customer service shipped out the missing item immediately.
