What people say

Took forever to get the Surron light…

Took forever to get the Surron light kit. Status Emails were vague and unhelpful. Would would get an email every week say the part was either being built, getting ready for shipping or being shipped. WOW.. thanks! We eventually called them and they said the kit needs to be built from scratch and gave us a delivery date. I think we got the kit three weeks after that date. It showed up in a bag with loose parts and no instructions. I wonder what they built?

2 weeks to ship

Customer service zero help. I made a large order over the phone and was assured they had the lights on the shelf. I called 3 days later and it had not shipped, and they couldn't tell me why and promised it would ship that day. Fast forward a week later and still nothing shipped. I am now approaching week 2 on waiting for BD to ship an item that is literally sitting on their shelf. I am now cancelling the order.

Let there be light!

Baja designs is hands down the best there is. Top of the line quality, customer service and super fast shipping. Leaders in innovation and lighting solutions with so many different choices. Lights to fit an endless possibility of locations and different lights for different zones to fulfill all your lighting needs. You can buy cheaper lights but when it comes to the frigid winter temps here in eastern Idaho I trust no one else. While my buddy has non working lights from Amazon in the subzero winter temps, Baja Designs lights the way to safely navigate the road ahead.

Zero tech support, zero customer service. High failure rate of high end lights

I have been buying Baja Designs off-road lights now for more than 10 years. In particular, I have bought several of their custom-made laser design lights. But also have a wide variety of the absolute top end of Baja Designs products. I’ve learned over the last 6 to 8 months is that their products are not what they used to be. I use only baja designs harnesses as recommended. The harnesses fail on the more powerful lights ) $5000 and over. I have called many times. It is commen to wait over an hour. I have screenshots of these long waits. Technical support is also Customer Service, which is also apparently Sales. Anthony is the only one that answers any of those lines. Although I have gotten emails from other people over the last few years. They only suggested solution to my problem with their harnesses burning is to send all my lights back to them for inspection and testing. I placed my last order with them early in 2024 and was given an expected delivery date for the custom laser lights of 3 to 4 weeks. It was three months. And Anthony apologize profusely and they sent me a free T-shirt. Knowing that I have waited many times for many months for them to send out lights. I am of course, skeptical of sending any of my lights back to them for the obvious reasons. I guess if I lived in San Diego, I would drive them over or send someone and check on them weekly or so. But I live in Houston. The good news is are several other companies coming along that Are now starting to sell laser lights so the option to go elsewhere is there now.

Best Damn Lights for your Gladiator

Tried the cheep Chinese Take out lights but none of them performed well in the long term. Last year put the amber squadrons in my bumper position and it made a huge difference. This year wanted something with a little more throw so added the LP6 Ambers to the upper bumper. First thing is the ambers between the LP6 and the Squadrons matched for a seemless look. The LP6’s throw and amazing amount of light in all the right places. Expensive, yes, worth it, absolutely!

Just installed these onx6 light bars on…

Just installed these onx6 light bars on my 2019 Harley Davidson road glide. I am extremely happy with how they look and perform. Build quality is top notch. The lights are much better than my stock headlight ever was and I’m running the low beams at 50% power. When I’m on dark back roads and turn on the high beams it’s like turning on the sun. They are focused just right so that it’s not bothering other drivers on the road either. Couldn’t be happier.

Squadron Sport A/C

The headlight is high quality! It throws an very bright intense beam and it looks Great!! Easy to wire up and I'm very happy with my purchase. I do wish it came with some directions to help with the install. I called Tech support and they are very nice and walked me through everything you need to know. I would highly recommend Baja Designs.

Lacking customer service.

Product is great, customer service not so good. Multiple e mails to track down an order with no response. Finally called and spoke to someone who did her best to stall me and it was obvious they had no idea when my order would ship. Been several weeks now and still no lite covers. Not impressed with this company.

Ordered light assembly

Ordered light assembly. Took 5 weeks to get delivered. No word up front about lead time or delays. Had to threaten to cancel item to get an8ly word. After finally getting light assembly, it did fit my bike. I used there chart to make sure it was the right one. Waiting on word about return. No way is there product or there word is as good as they advertised.

Love Baja Designs

Love Baja Designs! After learning of the LP6 in early 2023, I decided to put it on My 2023 Road King Special, and immediately added a pair of S1 amber to run on the H-D crash/engine guards. I added a 2024 GoldWing to the stable about a month ago and immediately turned to Baja Designs for a pair of Squadron Pro below the mirrors and S1 as aux lights mounted near the stock Honda fog lights below. I run all BD lighting with the amber rock guards because I'm a firm believer in contrast, which translates to safety on a motorcycle. I'm not being hyperbolic in saying I have no doubt BD lighting has helped prevent collisions numerous times. Whenever I ride through an intersection, or there's a car getting too close on my left or right on the interstate, I "present" my BD lights and people immediately notice. I've put a cumulative 30K miles on BD lights, through every inclement weather scenario, and there's no aux-lighting product I trust more than BD

Great product

Great product. Lights up the night as needed. Every light on my truck is Baja Designs and not a regret since then. Love the illumination it gives. Easier to see the trails. Should do chase lights with a dual function as chase and camp light use. Or make a harness to turn any auxiliary lights into chase.
