We did not receive a response until June 24, 2026, approximately 13 days later. When we proceeded with preparing your filing, we discovered that your requested LLC name was no longer available. We promptly notified you of this on June 26, 2026, and requested alternative business name options. As of today, we have not yet received a response with your preferred alternative name(s), which has prevented us from moving forward with the filing. Deceptive company
Deceptive company. Please do your due diligence before ordering with this company. They do not respond. No phone number. Their 5 star rating in their Google sponsored ads is also another deceptive practice. Steer clear from this company.

Subject: Immediate Action Required – Filing Discrepancies and Refund Demand I am writing to formally address significant concerns regarding the handling of my business filing. I have received multiple communications stating that my company was successfully filed on March 21, 2026. However, to date, I have not received any official documentation confirming this filing. Additionally, a search of my state’s business registry yields no record of the organization, which directly contradicts the claim that the filing has been completed. Further, I have received follow-up emails indicating that filings may take longer than expected and are still being processed. This is inconsistent with the prior communication clearly stating that the filing had already been completed and that the next step would be obtaining the EIN. No progress or documentation related to the EIN has been provided. Attempts to resolve this matter via phone have been unsuccessful, as I have only been met with an automated AI system. This lack of access to a live representative is unacceptable given the seriousness and time sensitivity of this issue. At this point, the inconsistencies, lack of transparency, and failure to deliver services as represented raise serious concerns. I have adhered to my obligations and made payment in good faith, and I expect the same level of professionalism and accountability in return. Due to these unresolved issues, I am formally requesting an immediate refund of all fees paid. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I am prepared to pursue further action to recover my funds. I expect a clear response, including either proof of completed filing with verifiable documentation or confirmation of a full refund, without further delay.
I had a very disappointing experience with BetterLegal.
I formed two companies with them, mainly motivated by a promotion where they offered a $100 bonus. However, I never received that bonus for either company. I followed all the steps as required, yet there was no payment and no clear explanation. The experience with the second company was even worse. There were significant delays in the formation process, and I had to repeatedly reach out just to get my formation documents. It felt like I had to chase them constantly for something that should have been straightforward. I also contacted customer service regarding the missing bonus. Their only response was that they needed up to 90 days to verify eligibility. Now it has been almost 6 months, and I still have not received any update, resolution, or payment. Overall, while they may complete the basic service, the lack of follow-through on promotions, poor communication, and delays make this a frustrating and unreliable experience. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
Scam company
Scam company. There is no way of contacting a human, only web form, they do not respond to emails and the phone number I was able to find only connects to an AI agent. As far as I know they don't exist. After paying them for several years, all of a sudden my account login "does not exist" and there is no way of addressing this issue.

Hi Justin, I've requested more information through Trustpilot so I can look up your account and understand what's going on. Most of the time when an account is not found, it's because the customer originally signed up under a different email address. If you can verify your information for us, we'll be able to look up your entity and change the email your account is listed under.

I am their customer. After 10 emails and many voicemails, they never returned a call regarding Registered Agent Service. Untrustworthy and corrupt bait-and-switch business practices. If I could give them negative stars

My experience is mixed but ultimately negative. My paperwork was processed quickly and I received my LLC. However, I never received my $100 credit for opening a bank account. I contacted customer service and was told it took 4-6 weeks. That came and went and I reached out again. Was then told it takes 90 days. After several months I basically gave up but also decided I didn't want the monthly state compliance monitoring. I wrote them regarding the $100 credit and to cancel to monitoring and didn't hear back. I followed up again two more times and it wasn't until I let them know I would have to report the recurring charge to my CC company as fraud that they finally canceled it. I still never received my $100 credit. I don't appreciate the false claims and unresponsiveness.

Hey Barie, I left you a couple voice messages explaining what happened here and it was a screwup on my part. When we did the $100 promotion, we didn't realize the limitations of Mercury's referral reporting and we were inundated with both legitimate requests (such as yours) and spam email invoices from people that never signed up through us. This made it extremely difficult to track and we did our best. I recall seeing your request multiple times via Abdul's escalation to me, but each time I looked at the Mercury reporting, I never found it. The way I look is from the date of formation to the date the invoice was sent as that's when the account would have been opened. Each time Abdul escalated, I told him there was no matching referral and thus we couldn't pay the invoice. When I saw your review I went back and made sure again that you weren't in our referrals. I accidentally found you much earlier in the list than you should have been. Somehow your account was opened much earlier than your formation which is why I couldn't find you in the list. The fault lies 100% with me, I apologize for the inconvenience, and I have paid your invoice.
