I ordered a cake last month for fathers day. Customer service was excellent and cake was delicious and fresh. It was very moist and not too sweet exactly how we wanted. We had left overs in fridge and it stayed fresh and moist as when we had ordered.
The cake was dry. The message on the cake was written wrong twice, it was written awkwardly the first time and the correction ended up with a spelling mistake.

I had the mango and passionfruit cake, and it was a refreshing surprise! The tropical flavors were vibrant and natural, not overly sweet, and the soft sponge layers paired perfectly with the fruity cream. Light, zesty, and ideal for summer—definitely worth going back for. This cake was left outside. Would have appreciated if it was not delivered or given to neighbour. Left with no cake and mess to clean.

the Cakes and Bakes missed understand my date for the cake they make the cake and called me saying why i did not collect my cake last nigh and i said the collection was not last nigh is on tonight so they said no are sure i said yes i will show you my order so when i went there to collected she asked me to show her my order because she did not beleave me and then i picked up my cake but did not taste fresh at all i was not happy with it

They went above and beyond contacting me directly to assist and ensuring everything was in place to satisfy my order and delivery. They have superlative customer service and their cake was delicious! I recommend them and would use them again.

My personal experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. I ordered a birthday cake online and applied a discount code, which was accepted. I paid the discounted amount online and planned to collect the cake at 7:00 PM. However, around 5:40 PM, I received a call saying there was a “computer glitch” on discount code and my order had been cancelled. They told me I would need to pay the remaining discounted amount to proceed. I agreed and said I would pay at the collection point. The person on the call said they would get back to me, but never did. When I went to the shop, there was no cake, no order nothing. I tried contacting customer service multiple times called for nine days, messaged on WhatsApp for nine days, and still no proper response. This is the worst company I’ve dealt with. Their customer service is terrible. They don’t treat customers with respect or responsibility. I never received my cake or a refund, and I got no proper explanation or apology. Completely unacceptable.
