What reviewers say

AI generated

Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the booking process is exceptionally fast, simple, and very easy to navigate without any unnecessary clutter or complex steps. Travelers also deeply appreciate the affordable prices, noting that tickets are consistently cheaper and offer great value compared to other online booking platforms. However, some people mentioned notable difficulties when trying to manage, update, or change their travel bookings afterward through the online portal. A few reviewers specifically experienced frustrating issues such as unrecognised booking reference numbers at the airport or unexpectedly high service fees for altering flights.

What people say

Very bad experience.

Very bad experience. Used to be the Best before the pandemic. Recently, bought 4 air tickets to Malaysia Penang for holiday. Unfortunately, EVisa of Malaysia turn out to be not working. Manual submition need more than 10 working days. Cheap ticketing asked me to contact the air line. Airlines of Malaysia not have any email address. Why can't I cancel my flight? Airline can still selling those tickets. Now, this issue is hanging there. Horrible website.

Lousy customer service

Lousy customer service. I request for the cancellation of my booking because I got admitted to hospital. They told me that based on the policy I could not refund my booking. I called the airlines support and told me that I might be able to have a refund if can provide the proof such as medical certificate.. they may or may not approve it, its a case-to-case basis. However, Cheapflights insist that i cannot request for it because it is the airline policy, but the airline told me that I can. Don't recommend this agency.. cheapflights cheap services!

Booking made but no air ticket on departure day

Despite confirming the booking thrice due to the rescheduling of flights, cheap tickets failed to secure an air ticket for my helper on the day of her departure. She was left stranded at the airport and have no plane to return to her country for family visiting. We checked with the crew at the airport counter but was informed that my helper’s name was not on the flight. The worse part of the experience was that Cheapticket.sg’s service recovery was a letdown. The live.chat agent made us wait for 30 mins and the outcome was, we have to wait for the alternative flight detail through email. Their response was the email will be sent within the next 12 hours. After I requested for a full refund from cheaptickets.sg (through live chat and email) and went ahead to purchase another air ticket from PH airline website, cheap ticket sent me an email to inform me that my previous flight had been rescheduled to the next day. A platform which cannot guarantee passenger an air ticket and failed to provide immediate damage recovery service, I see no reason why this platform deserves more than a star. If there’s a 0/5 rating, I would certainly opt for that option. Did I also mention the company only has live-chat app as their HELPDESK on weekends? This made the situation harder as it left us with little reaction time on planning our next step. This is our first and final dealing with cheap tickets.sg. We hope that our honest review will help those intending to buy tickets from this platform to reconsider their option wisely.
