I am so grateful and praise God for the help I received from Teri Pepitone Wilson and her team at Community Tax. Tax debt for an unorganized small business owner has been a hard load. After my divorce , I was left financially stressed from the bills & debts accrued. I took a withdrawal from my 401K to pay a down payment for a house and my son's college tuition at the end of the year. The tax bill from the 401K withdrawal was $29k. I barely had a financial leg to stand before and now I was in deep sh!t. I've never been in a tax situation like this and was lil spooked to deal with the IRS. I thought they would take away what lil I had. I was referred to Community Tax. I was assigned to a "GREAT" team of Teri & Julianna to work with me on my case. They quickly calmed my nerves. Teri & Julianna comforted me not just with their knowledge and expertise, but they were empathetic & sweet. They along with the help of Carlita & Demetria kept me in the loop every step of the way. The Team worked out of very low and manageable settlement with the IRS. Thank you Ladies for making a tough situation less stressful. I would definitely refer others to use Community Tax.

The accountant told me Hard Rock would give me a P&L sheet for CASH GAME POKER. When I insisted he was wrong, he hung up on me. I then called Hard Rock, and they said I was 100% correct. They never record cash game poker wins and losses, only W/L on machines. This Co. is ignorant, rude and unprofessional.

Paid them over $2000 to resolve my tax debt. Had over $10000 in back taxes. They said they could get my taxes reduced and have the fees waived. Didn't do either. Now owe almost $18000 in taxes, fees and interest that is still accumulating. I could have contacted the irs myself and came up with the same resolution and saved my $2000.

Not worth the money — I paid them to file my 2023 taxes and negotiate my balance for 2021 & 2022 into a payment plan so that we can get manageable payments towards our tax balance. They are impossible to get a hold of, half of the people we worked with didn’t speak English and once they tried getting someone else involved who did - Amanda - she helped for a brief time and then we were left to deal with the same non English speaking office personnel. We’re going on almost 1.5 years and I still haven’t gotten a resolution to anything. Save your money and hire a different company if you need help. These people are NOT GOING TO HELP YOU.

Worst decision of my life. With what the IRS had confiscated from me and what I have already paid them for services not rendered I could have paid the debt off. But! I still owe. Never use this service.

If I could give negative stars I would! Community tax was the worst decision I've made! 1st they were supposed to set me up on a payment arrangement to assist with back taxes. They supposedly did and then dropped off the face of the earth when I tried to call for followup questions. Next thing I know they say they're work is done and 1 month laterite irs reaches out and says that plan is null and void because they didn't supply all the years and docs as they were supposed to. So I'm right back where I started! Find anyone else because my next call is the Better Business Bureau! And then cherry on top they were supposed to do my current year taxes and they charged me for it but never did them! I had to get another service to rush on them before they were late. Again, worst mistake ever! Don't walk, run away from this company!

I'm still not sure about this company. My taxes were NOT reduced, like some of the other reviews. I'm paying$5000 for? When you try to speak to someone on the phone, it's as if you are calling the White House. And then, no one returns your call.

NO, I would NOT recommend this company. The person who sold me the service was really good but that’s exactly where it stops. Once they’ve got your signature and your monthly payments, which they collect with military precision, they do absolutely nothing. They have not even sent my transcripts I paid $500 for to start the process! I was first assigned someone I could barely understand, which made communication really difficult. I requested to be reassigned and was given a woman named Audrey. Audrey told me I wasn’t allowed to communicate directly with the accountant — everything had to go through her. That added an unnecessary layer of complexity. I explained my situation, requested transcripts I had paid for, and some additional documentation, and she assured me she’d get them to me. For two months, I received NOTHING. When I finally followed up, she said she’d lost her assistant and fallen behind, apologized and promised to send everything immediately. That was three weeks ago. STILL NOTHING. They clearly have my email and details correct as they send a message each month to say they will be taking the payment……FOR WHAT? So far, in 4 months, the only thing this company has done is collect my money. No documents. No service. No follow-through. No accountability. If you’re considering working with them, proceed with extreme caution — or better yet, just DON’T.

If I could give a ZERO star I would, Simply for 2 reasons, one for grilling my ears with lies about their services, that their investigations with the IRS would only take 2-3 weeks max. I gave this people money, we signed a contract, and they simply DISAPPEARED! Yep no service, no follow ups, not even the results of the investigation, I emailed them several times, no reply, I called them dozens of times, they lie that the IRS had issues? Now I m feeling like totally robbed by this scammers, they have all my information and they didn’t give me my money back, not even had the decency to get back at me. Larisa name of the agent that helped me! Do yourself a favor, do not trust this people, do not give them any money, they are probably just lying and stealing money from people like they did to me!! I will proceed with a law suit next and take them to court, maybe then they will learn a lesson to not use peoples issue to make money and rob them of their time and resources.

Scammers! Do not pay these people. I paid 4k for them to get my tax issue resolved so I could get approved for a home loan, long story short they dragged their feet to the point where I had to contact the irs and get a deal done myself! (What I paid them to do) basically doing they're job. Then they had the nerve to charge me for getting last years taxes rolled into the payment that I already have with the irs which is done automatically BTW I have the letter from the irs themselves. I will now be taking legal action to get a full refund. Save yourself the headache and contact the irs yourself to get a deal done
