What people say

I had ordered a DJI Osmo360

I had ordered a DJI Osmo360, unfortunately I missed the first delivery and DPD returned it without a second attempt. While browsing to contact DJI customer support I brushed the “order complete” button by accident. So far so bad. However I found a contact number and spoke to a rep who was very helpful and understanding and promised to get it sent out to me when it returned. It finally arrived a few days later, this was followed up by an email asking if I had received it and then another thanking me for confirming. All in all very polite and helpful and I was left feeling I’d had good personalised service.

DJI Power 1000 (mini) and Power 2000 WIFI Issues

To the DJI Product & Firmware Teams,I am writing to officially flag a massive design and firmware oversight regarding the Wi-Fi connectivity on the DJI Power series (including the newer Power 1000 models).Wi-Fi 7 has been widely available on the market for a long time now. Yet, despite buying premium, modern power stations, users with up-to-date home networks are experiencing constant disconnection loops where the DJI unit repeatedly drops its saved Wi-Fi credentials and flashes its Wi-Fi icon. The Technical Issue:The legacy 2.4GHz network chip inside the DJI Power units cannot cope with modern router configurations. Specifically, it completely crashes and wipes its internal memory cache when exposed to:Dual-Band/Tri-Band Smart Connect (Band Steering): The router tries to optimize bands, and the DJI unit fails the handshake, immediately dropping offline.Modern Security Protocols: The unit cannot handle standard Wi-Fi 7 encryption configurations (like WPA3 or AES+GCMP256) and drops the connection right after the app says "Done".Protected Management Frames (PMF): If PMF is active, the DJI unit rejects the network entirely. The Absurd Workaround:To make a DJI Power unit work, customers are being forced to log into their router's backend, disable Wi-Fi 7 features, drop security to legacy WPA2-Personal, and build a completely isolated, un-steered 2.4GHz network lane just for this one device.I personally struggled with this connection issue for hours until I had to dig through deep technical threads and find complex workarounds. Frankly, having spent good money on a premium product, encountering these kinds of foundational network issues is entirely unacceptable. In 2026, customers should not have to compromise or downgrade their entire home network security just to get a high-end DJI product to remember a simple password—especially considering the critical significance of cybersecurity these days. Even compact units like the DJI Power 500 or 1000 series should easily keep up with standard network protocols. Please pass this directly to your software engineers and product managers. This network handshake logic needs to be patched in a future firmware update so the units can gracefully exist on modern, unified Wi-Fi networks without throwing a tantrum and dumping their credentials.

2026.9.28 Hi Allen, thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. Regarding the connectivity issue you described, we'd like to clarify that the wireless module in the DJI Power series only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 4. It is not compatible with Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, or Wi-Fi 7. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. For full details, please refer to the product specifications section on our official product page. Here is the link for your reference: https://www.dji.com/se/power-1000-mini/specs?backup_page=index&target=se Thank you for your understanding. =================================== 2026.9.27 Hi there, Thank you for reaching out and taking the time to share such a comprehensive, professional, and detailed technical breakdown. We sincerely apologize for the frustration, inconvenience, and hours of troubleshooting this connectivity issue has caused you, especially when managing a modern, high-standard home network. We take feedback like this very seriously. We are eager to look deeper into the network compatibility and handshake behaviors you described so that we can work on potential firmware improvements. To ensure we can communicate with you directly, collect relevant logs/router environment data, and work together on a proper solution: Could you please let us know if you have any other preferred contact channels or platforms (such as an email address or preferred communication channel)? Once received, we will promptly escalate this case. Thank you once again for your constructive feedback and for helping us improve our products. We truly appreciate your patience and support!

10 out of 10

10 out of 10 — couldn't be happier I sent my DJI Mini 5 Pro in after it crashed into a building. The obstacle avoidance didn't react even though I was in Normal mode with omnidirectional sensing enabled and flying sideways, which the aircraft is rated to detect. Instead of just quoting me for a paid repair, DJI ran a full flight-data analysis to find the actual cause — and confirmed there was a genuine fault with the vision sensors on the sideways axis. Not pilot error. Because it was a confirmed defect, they replaced the entire drone at no cost to me, shipping included both ways. I didn't pay a cent. And the turnaround was fast — under 5 business days start to finish. What stood out is that they didn't take the easy path of just billing me. They dug into the flight logs, found the real problem, and stood behind their product. Fast, fair, and exactly how warranty support should work. 10 out of 10 — couldn't be happier.

please read - very poor quality batteries

UPDATED the drone itself is really good...however the batteries (that were £50 each ) are absolutely useless rubbish, from fully charged and then not in use .. they go flat in 7 days!! total rubbish... having to charge them 2 - 3 times a week just to maintain any charge... UPDATE FOR DJI .... battery numbers .. 52XXMB1DG400KB this is one of 3 batteries bought as part of the package deal... from fully charged, all 3 go totally flat within 7 to 14 days thats not using them, total rubbish! reply to DJI... thank you for your reply below... I got 3 batteries as part of a 'fly more' package, all 3 are effected by the same problem, and to read this is programmed in is just ridiculous! from fully charged they go to almost totally flat within 7 days ... I have so many different products from different suppliers and non of those have this problem.. im not interested in sending them for a inspection and certainly not paying for it! i just dont bother using it, not worth the hassle...customers should be aware of this .. thanks again

Updated 2026/9/26 Hi there, thank you for letting us know. We understand and respect your decision not to send them in for inspection. As they are outside the warranty period, the available option is to submit a service request whenever you wish to proceed. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Wishing you all the best. ================================= Hi there, We sincerely apologize for reaching out again. As we have not yet heard back from you, we would like to gently follow up. As mentioned previously, if the batteries have been stored under suitable conditions and you are currently in the UK, we kindly recommend using a spare battery or, if they can be safely transported, submitting a repair request through our official website and sending the affected batteries in for inspection. An applicable fee may be charged for replacement. Alternatively, you may consider purchasing new batteries. Should you need any assistance, please feel free to contact DJI Support. We will be more than happy to help. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation. =============================== Updated 2026/9/24 Thank you for providing the correct serial number. After consulting our internal team, we understand that the batteries automatically discharge to below 65% after being idle for over 10 days to help protect battery health. However, becoming completely depleted within 7–14 days is not typical. Could you please let us know the temperature and humidity of the storage environment? If the batteries have been stored under suitable conditions and you are currently in the UK, we recommend submitting a repair request through our official website and sending them in for further inspection. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. For long-term storage, please keep the batteries at 40%–65% charge in a cool, dry place at 22°C–28°C. Avoid storing them fully charged for extended periods, as this may accelerate battery aging. Thank you for your cooperation. ===================================== Hi there, this is DJI Support. We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the battery. We take your feedback very seriously. To further assist you, could you please provide us with the serial number of the battery? We look forward to your reply.

This is a piece of junk.

This piece of junk has worked in the past. I brought it down to Florida to fly on my vacation took it out didn't work. I had to put in a firmware update that didn't work. Meanwhile, the battery and my blood pressure are getting very hot. If you want a drone, you can pull out of the case and fly it. This is not the drone for you. I have a DJI mini four I would not recommend this piece of junk unless you want a lot of frustration and your blood pressure to rise. The Customer Service sucks they ask you all kind of questions and did'nt resolve anything at the end. They try to extort me for five dollars. They wanted my credit card after I've given them all type of personal information already. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. if there's something I need to do I should be prompted to do it and it should be on the screen in front of me. I will never buy a DJI drone again and I would recommend that you do not either.

DJI Refused to Address a Remote ID Registration Problem

I contacted DJI Support because FAA DroneZone rejects my DJI Flip’s 20\-character Aircraft/Flight Controller serial number as an invalid Remote ID serial\. Instead of helping investigate that incompatibility, the representative questioned why I was registering the drone and repeatedly suggested that registration was unnecessary\. I explained that I intend to operate under FAA Part 107, which requires registration and Remote ID compliance\. My reason for registering was not the issue\. The issue was that DJI identifies the Flip as supporting FAA Remote ID, yet the FAA system will not accept the serial number displayed by the aircraft\. The representative ultimately dismissed the problem as an FAA website issue and told me to contact the FAA\. That is inadequate product support\. DJI should verify that its Remote ID declaration, model information, and serial\-number format are properly recognized by FAA DroneZone—or provide a clear escalation path when they are not\. Customers should not be forced to mediate an unresolved compatibility problem between DJI and the FAA\.

Very bad experience with DJI

Very bad experience with DJI. I buy Mini 5 Pro and battery already broken before even 6 months. This is not even half year and battery already have problem. I contact DJI customer service, but they refuse to replace battery. I really don’t understand. Battery is new, not use for long time, why can broken so fast? And customer service just say cannot replace, like this is my problem. I buy DJI because I think DJI is good company and product quality should be good, but now I feel very disappointed. Less than 6 months battery broken and DJI dont want help customer. What kind of warranty is this? I spend my money for this drone, not cheap at all. Now battery cannot use and DJI just refuse. Very angry and very disappointed. I will think many times before buy DJI again.

I sent a further two emails to DJI on…

I sent a further two emails to DJI on 10 and 11 September, and once again, no one has responded. This matter was first raised on 30 August, and despite me providing all of the information and documentation requested, there has still been no meaningful progress or communication. The continued lack of response demonstrates an extremely poor level of customer service and case handling. I have fully cooperated with every request made by DJI, yet I am still having to repeatedly chase for a basic update. It is now 12 September, meaning this issue has been ongoing for nearly two weeks without resolution. I should not have to continuously chase DJI for updates after providing everything requested. This ongoing delay and lack of communication is completely unacceptable. CAS-36369581-G4V4F1

I am extremely disappointed with DJI’s…

I am extremely disappointed with DJI’s customer service. I received an email stating that they required a response from me and warning that my case could be closed if I failed to respond. However, the email did not actually explain what information or action they required from me. It feels as though the case is simply being pushed back to me without any clear explanation, with the risk of it being closed if I do not respond to an unclear request. This is incredibly frustrating and comes across as lazy and poor case management. I have already been actively engaging with DJI regarding this matter, so threatening to close the case without clearly stating what is required from me is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would seriously advise others to think twice before purchasing from DJI. The level of customer service and communication I have received has been extremely disappointing. Mini 5 Pro - Excellent product, but a very disappointing customer and after-sales experience.

Actually, I was a new DJI customer, having purchased my Mini 5 Pro only 3 months ago. Overall, it is a good product with excellent camera quality. Unfortunately, my experience with DJI after-sales following my Mini 5 Pro flyaway was extremely disappointing. Case number: CAS-35880465-L6S2W9 The drone was lost following a loss-of-signal situation, and the key issue remains unresolved: why did the aircraft fail to perform the expected RTH after the signal was lost? DJI reviewed the flight data but did not establish a clear root cause. I acknowledge that I was using a non-original battery. However, there was no battery-related error or warning identified as the cause of the incident. This still does not explain the RTH failure. Initially, DJI's technical team attributed the incident to the battery. After I challenged this conclusion, the main reason was changed to environmental signal interference, which DJI said was not covered by warranty. The after-sales process was also extremely slow. The case dragged on for nearly six weeks, with repeated follow-ups required from my side. Eventually, DJI offered a 25% “special courtesy discount” on a replacement with only 9 months of warranty remaining. However, after comparing the final price with DJI's current retail pricing, the discounted replacement was comparable to—or even more expensive than—a brand-new package with a full 1-year warranty, including a controller and battery. A 25% discount sounds impressive, but provided very little real benefit. I proposed several reasonable alternatives, but all were rejected. DJI ultimately called the 25% offer its “absolute final resolution.” I understand DJI cannot necessarily accept responsibility for every flyaway, but I expected a proper explanation of the unresolved RTH issue and a more reasonable after-sales solution. After almost six weeks, I rejected the offer and decided to leave the DJI ecosystem. I no longer want to spend more money on DJI drone products without a proper explanation of the RTH failure and after experiencing such a disappointing after-sales process. I have deleted my DJI account and moved on. Excellent product, but a very disappointing customer and after-sales experience. update 14/09/26: offered solution still doesn't make sense. Discounted replacement price is still higher than brand new retail price. Replacement unit condition new/refurbished/repaired and warranty duration still not confirmed. update 13/09/26: DJI Customer Service contacted me again - confirming battery was not the root cause. Offered me additional coutersy discount on top of marked up replacement unit price. The fact: new net retail price is cheaper than discounted replacement unit.

Customer support needs improvement

Customer support needs improvement. I explained the issue to a support agent. The agent asked me to make a video of the issue and send a photo, which I did. She proposed a solution and told me that the team would get back to me in 24 hours. This was 2 weeks ago. I still haven't heard back. I have followed up twice on the chat since then and no resolution yet. ##Update (16 Sept 2026) The request is resolved now. I still stand by my original review. Worst customer experience - DJI

Terrible customer service. I waited three months for my gimbal repair because they kept saying replacement parts were unavailable. Once I finally sent the device in, they refused to repair it under warranty, citing a tiny cosmetic damage on the device. The real issue was a faulty motor, which should have been covered by the warranty. Instead, they wanted to charge me $100 for the repair, while a new device costs only $99. After months of waiting, this feels like an excuse to avoid honoring their warranty obligations. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. I won't use any of their products in the future. Live Streaming baseball with the Action 5 Pro…..not as described.

I purchased a DJI Action 5 pro camera for the sole purpose of live streaming youth baseball. All their marketing claimed an easy and seamless process to do so. The reality was that it couldn’t have been more complicated and useless. First the camera doesn’t have native support for the most used third party baseball streaming apps (sideline, game changer, etc). We set up a YouTube account that seemed like it would work but here is where the camera screwed me, in order to take the chain link fence out of the video you need to zoom in just a bit (1.0 to 1.4) the problem was that the digital zoom causes you to cross the threshold from native optical to digital cropping. Because the camera has to crop and compress the video and apply an image stabilizer it creates a heavy spike in the processor….long story a bit shorter it glitches and buffers. They kinda leave that out when describing how easy and seamless their camera livestreams. There are ways around this issue but they are complicated and require additional equipment like computers. I don’t really have a field side office to set this up in. You might want to stay with GoPro. * I checked the firmware and I have the most recent edition. I live-streamed another game in “Standard” with no zoom and the glitching and buffering went away. The problem with that is, the field is slightly larger than it needs to be so seeing action in the field is difficult as is identifying players. The fence is also visible in the video and cannot be completely removed unless I stick the lens of the camera through the fence and into dangerous territory. I’m afraid I have to stick with my initial assessment that the action 5 pro is not a good camera for little league game live streaming and you should stop suggesting that it is.

Reply from DJI2026-09-10

Hi Cap, We’re sorry to hear that your experience with the DJI Action 5 Pro live-streaming setup has been frustrating. We understand that you were expecting a simpler and more seamless experience for streaming youth baseball games. Please note that the DJI Action 5 Pro currently supports live streaming directly to Facebook and YouTube. If you have not streamed on YouTube before, you can refer to the following official YouTube tutorial for the setup process: [YouTube Live Streaming Tutorial](https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2474026?hl=zh-Hans&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&utm_source=chatgpt.com) For the stuttering issue, please connect your Action 5 Pro to DJI Mimo and update the firmware to the latest version, V01.04.08.10, which may help resolve the issue. If the stuttering persists after the firmware update, please upload a video demonstrating the issue to the following cloud drive and let us know once it is uploaded: https://pan-sec.djicorp.com/f/166209296 Thank you very much for your cooperation and for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We hope the above steps help improve your live-streaming experience.

Excellent customer service

Extremely disappointed with DJI’s customer service

Extremely disappointed with DJI’s customer service. I returned my item on 21st August, and there has been virtually no progress since. DJI contacted me on 30th August requesting proof of postage, which I provided on the same day. Since then, I have followed up twice by email on separate days, yet I have received no response or meaningful update regarding my refund. Customers should not have to constantly chase a company to get their money back for an item that has already been returned. The lack of communication and delays have made the whole experience unnecessarily frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing directly from DJI. The after-sales service has been extremely poor, particularly when it comes to processing a return and refund. Order number: 0441183798045

I placed my order with DJI on 4 August 2026 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Despite several follow-ups and giving DJI a clear deadline to resolve the matter, I have still not received my product or a refund. I understand that delivery issues can happen, but what has been most frustrating is the lack of timely communication and resolution from DJI. I have had to repeatedly chase customer support and eventually escalate the matter through PayPal Buyer Protection to try to recover my money. For a company like DJI, I expected much better customer service and after-sales support. Very disappointed with the way this issue has been handled.

I've spent a lot of money on my Dji…

I've spent a lot of money on my Dji Mini 3 Pro and the accessories but decided to purchase the brand new Avata 360. I bought the fly more combo that included the Goggles N3. Well, yesterday the fly more package with the avata 360, controller and goggle were delivered yesterday. I was super excited to try it out. To be clear- I have no vision inconsistencies. I have 20/15 vision in both eyes. Well after charging everything and doing firmware updates, and being required to activate the Dji Goggles N3 to actually try them and tie to the avata 360 I took it out and put the goggles on. Immediately the image is distorted, out of focus so I went online to see how I can adjust IPD and ocular adjustments. To my surprise, there is none. They claim if you have 20/20 vision it will be calibrated out of the box. First- entirely false. Second- everyones eyes are different and saying "we didnt include any adjsutments or stops because you can wear glasses is absolutely absurd. i did a beginner flight mode and instantly hated the goggles. Within 20 minutes of receiving the item I inquired to their customer support team the above complaints and highlighted that I have 20+ years of experience behind night vision goggles, long range optics and have never seen items ship without diopter adjustments and certainly nothing in the last 5 years without IPD stops on face mounted items. The customer service rep (Ava) was absolutely trash and sent me this response verbatim- Dear Customer, The Goggles N3 is an entry‑level simplified version of Goggles 3 designed for new users. It adopts a design compatible with prescription glasses instead of mechanical diopter adjustment. Goggles N3 is mainly sold as bundle packages to lower the entry cost for immersive FPV flight experience. To keep costs down, features including adjustable diopter mechanism, passthrough camera and wireless screen casting have been removed. It adopts a single‑large‑LCD solution and delivers a wider 54° field‑of‑view for enhanced immersion. By contrast, Goggles 3 is the high‑end flagship unit with a higher standalone price, targeted at hardcore FPV pilots. Please understand they are built for different user groups. This is not a product quality issue. If you still wish to proceed with a return: should the unit be activated, it will not qualify for full‑price return under our return policy. Upon receipt, it will be processed as used merchandise, and depreciation charges ranging from 10%‑35% of the item price will apply. No depreciation fee will be charged only if the item remains brand‑new and un‑activated. If you accept these terms, I can provide the return shipping label for you. Thank you. Best regards, Ava FIRST- A DEPRECIATION FEE on something that requires activation before you can even USE them. SECOND- Her response is entirely false and the goggles are entirely trash products. Sorry- but this will be escalated because its deceptive. I thought I was getting the goggles 3 but no you got this useless goggle that sucks and we're going to screw you and charge a depreciation fee. I've spent thousands with DJI. No more.
