I am writing this with a very mixed feeling about Dr Marty’s pet food. I have fed my dog DM for almost two years. My pet loved it and had good results in many ways. But there comes a time when bad things happen and it out weighs the good. Mainly shipping. I have complained multiple times about long shipping times and unreliable shipping employees that don’t care about doing their job in a timely manor. I live in Az and they ship from Cali. That’s usually a 2 day ship even with USPS. Terrible to say it mildly. I guess Dr Marty is cutting costs with shipping and affecting customer loyalty. So I have canceled my subscription and moving on.
My pups like it and digest it well with cleaner poops. I use it with their homemade food for the extra filler and vitamins they need. Just wish it wasn’t as pricey.
Gracie was hesitant at first, sniffer a few times, stuck out her tongue for fast small taste, and then she gobbled it down quickly, and licked the bowl until it looked like it had just came out of the dishwasher. She likes it.
My chiauhau is very picky and puts her nose up to almost every dog food- wet or dry. I saw Dr..Marty's in the store one day and thought I'd ty it thinking maybe this time she would like the new food. I got home and made her first meal and she gobbled it right down! She loves it! It's the only dog food she will eat.Itsy & I Thankyou Dr. Marty!
Fable is at the peak of good health now that she ‘s been eating Essential Wellness for over a year. She loves her dinner and has the energy of a puppy at 7 1/2 years! And her coat is beautiful! We are thinking it may soon be time for her to switch over to Active Vitality due to her age.
Our Toby loves Dr. Marty's Nature's Blend for small breed. We like that it is easy to feed, no refrigeration necessary so it is the best when we travel. It was recommended to us by our vet on our very first visit. It is expensive but we consider it a good investment. We highly recommend this brand of dog food.

I use Dr. Marty’s essential wellness food as a topper on my dogs’ kibble. They both love it, and I’ve noticed they both have a more energy than they use to.

11 year old female yorkie. She liked the product, and we introduced it to her as the directions advised. She developed diarrhea, and after 3 days took her to the vet. The blood test results were supposed to be under 200. Hers were over 1600. Vet said there was too much fat in the ingredients which caused pancreatitis. Now Piper is on a gastro diet, taking medicine, and the future awaits.
UPDATE: 7/20/26, I just returned from UPS. $48.63 to return 3 1/2 bags of food and the free treats they sent. Yes, as Kat says in her reply to me (and others), check with your vet first. DO NOT trust advertisements that tell you how wonderful a product is unless you are a doctor or scientist. thank you

I put these on top of my dogs food she loves them I used to cook chicken for my other dog daily so glad I found natural freeze dried food with veggies in a my dog eats it
