What people say

Account banned for no reason

I bought an account and this was my first tranasction here. The transaction was good, I sent the money using Paypal Friends and Family, the seller received the money and I received the account. Just as I was going to write a positive review, I received a message that I was banned (Scammer detected). The seller even posted a screenshot of our chat that confirmed that the transaction went smoothly. Then I opened a ticket asking about the situation. After the inquiry, the customer service said that I need to show proof that in the last 6 months i have at least 5 positive feedback or reputation system on websites. I don't understand this requirement because I am a buyer (I have never sold anything online) and I sent the money using Paypal Friends and Family so you can't refund (like I said the transaction was good, so that wasn't a problem). I even sent screenshots of some websites from which i bought things (of course that these websites don't have a feedback / reputation system for buyers) but they said that the ban stands and after 6 months I can appeal again after I build positive feedback on another site. I find the system opaque and unfriendly because of the requirements. Why does it require the buyer to have a positive feedback on different websites when the transaction was good and the seller confirmed it? That means that I will be banned forever because I have no intention on selling stuff on the internet, so I can't receive positive feedback and as a buyer you don't receive positive feedback from the websites you use, you just receive the goods and that's it. But my biggest issue is the fact that I am considered a scammer even though I did nothing wrong. Update: You said that during the registration multiple red flags were triggered. I created the account on EpicNPC on July 29. I made the purchase on August 13. If this is what you said, why wasn't the account banned when the red flags were triggered on July 29 instead of August 13. Even more, the fact that I was able to complete the purchase shows a vulnerability of your system. If I really was a scammer then your alert would have been too late. I have no idea what alarms were triggered given that i registered on a barely used email, in which I was only subscribed to a book newsletter and a freshly made and never used Paypal account. Like I said in the ticket to the customer service I used this email address instead of the one that I use all the time is because I needed to make a new Paypal account given that I couldn't access the old one because I changed my phone number. Also, what kind of scammer would register using an email account that contains his real name, the evidence being in the screenshots that I sent to the customer service.

During registration, the user triggered multiple red flag alerts and the account was banned. They opened a support ticket and we're unable to provide any information that we requested. Because of this their account remain banned.

Terrible Customer Support Experience

EpicNPC by itself is a decent forum with moderation. However, their Customer Support system can only be called a diaster. My account, a verified one with multiple years of regular use, apparently triggered something on their system after I attempt to change my email. Which promptly lead to an account suspension. Cool, I thought, maybe we can work this out. But what awaits me is the worst CS experience I ever had (thought I had seen the worst). My inquiry get picked up and I was told my account tripped their detection filters. Not ONE explanation was ever provided on what, why or how this "filter" operates. If you get it, you're finished. As I attempt to ask for what solution there is, the CS agent told me I need to provide an account on another website that has 10+ feedbacks and active over 6 months. Why? None of that was mentioned in forum rule, nor are there any alternatives. As I ask for other alternatives, the ticket got instantly closed as if the agent is on a KPI run to close as many tickets per day as they can. Any further tickets immediately get closed as I get told to try to appeal again 6-MONTHS later. No excuse, no reasoning, I got slammed the door in my face just because I failed to have another account on another arbitrary website to appeal a ban on EpicNPC. Never have I seen such a requirement, nor have that been written in the forum rule. And the 10+ ratings, really? How does a small time seller even have that many ratings to prove? I thought it's a forum to sell a game account not a physical storefront. Anyway, it's still a good forum if you're surfing for listings, but god forbid you ever have to contact their CS. Definitely EpicNPC will remain in my book for having the worst CS system. ------------------------ Updated: After my review went live, I got in contact with CS again and it was supposed to be an incorrect response from epicNPC and my account situation was solved. I wouldn't call this a great experience, but in the end things still get resolved within 24 hours. My rating will reflect the appreciation in their quick response, but it will be neutral.

I'm sorry, we do not provide information about our alerts or security checks as this would only help bad actors bypass our systems. I have reviewed your support ticket and it seems the incorrect action was taken. Your account has been reopened. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Terrible experience with this site

Awful Website!!!!!

In 30 years working and using IT of all kinds - THIS is the most difficult website I have come across to use!!!! It has NO User Friendliness AT ALL! Every time I have come to do something I have had to google how - and not always found the answer. It could not get worse than it is! Update after reply: I do not have an account, I help others. Knowing the account details does not make the review true or false. The request asked me to give login details to confirm authenticity, rather than to ask what to improve. You got my email for that. Hiding behind semantics yet the site remains the same

We attempted to contact this user for more information and to re-review their complaint to make sure it was handled correctly. They provided fake information. It appears to be a fake review. EDIT: Since you're not a member, if you have suggestions on how to improve the site or need help, you can contact support here. https://www.epicnpc.com/misc/contact

Shit site

Shit site, you can't even set up an account. They also close tickets without notice and without solving problems. They really don't care about the costumers. Edit: They ask for a 6 months old account in another seller website with feedbacks, so, if it's the first time you're selling your account then they'll just tell you to fu and reject. They also don't say which are the so called "red flags". In any case, I don't really care if they accept or not, I will never sell any account in their website full of bs and poor costumer service.

Our top priority is our communities safety. Your registration triggered multiple red flag alerts and was rejected for this reason. You then opened a support ticket, but were unable to provide the information we requested so your appeal was also rejected.

Worst than a bank

After phone verify, ID verify, you are able to post. After being able to post, when you do, you will get spammed by a mod asking you to proof your account. I'v seen banks WAY easier to deal with than this website. Eventually you will never sell your 20$ bucks account, just find an easier site. after all that work you will never get a buyer anyway. Not to talk about that you are giving all this personal information to a site that facilities something that's illegal. And exposing your ingame name account to some random mod THAT IS NOT EVEN A REAL EMPLOYEE OF THE SITE, risking your account to get banned ingame. Asking way too much for a site that tries to avoid real company issues by putting middlemans and moderator that are considered "volunteers" but are giving the power of a employee, having the power to ban, disable, see personal information and more. Trying to avoid LEGAL CONSEQUENCES just saying "Oh... they are just volunteers". If they are volunteers they can't have access to 1. PERSONAL INFORMATION; 2. ADMIN POWERS.

Moderators have the right to ask for proof of sale when a seller is suspected of creating fake sales. Generally we'll ask for some screenshots or a video to prove the seller has access to the account they have listed for sale. Our top priority it to create a safe marketplace for buyers and sellers and we are pro-active when someone is reported with evidence. Moderators do not ask for personal information, only proof the seller has access to the account they have listed for sale. Our site does require all sellers to ID verify before they can post anything for sale. Moderators do not have access to this data. Middleman do not have the power to ban.

Face control at registation

"I'm sorry, your unban has been denied. You can re-appeal in 6 months once you have built some feedback on another website."

Reply from EpicNPC2025-07-31

Our system checks all new accounts and if a certain amount of red flags are triggered, the account is rejected. These are high risk flags and these types of bans only trigger a low percentage of time. These are not permanent bans, but we do require some evidence to show the user is legit. This user was unable to provide any and so their unban request was denied for 6 months.

Got Scammed – Support Ignored Clear Proof and Blamed Me

I got scammed while trying to trade an account on June 12, 2025. I initially suggested using EpicNPC’s official middleman, but the person convinced me to use a so-called “trusted” middleman from Facebook instead – claiming he had done thousands of trades, charged lower fees, and even had a Facebook group with thousands of members backing his reputation. That Facebook middleman already had access to my game account. Then, he asked me to give him my Epic Games account too, claiming it was necessary because they had had “problems in the past” with other users not completing trades properly. When I asked if he would return my EpicNPC account later, he said yes. Based on that and the trust he had built up, I felt I had no choice but to continue and hand over my Epic account as part of the deal. Later, I realized the buyer and the middleman were working together – or were possibly the same person, running both sides of the scam. I provided EpicNPC with full chat logs and clear proof showing I had been manipulated. Still, their support refused to help. Even worse, they accused me of being involved in the scam, simply because I “voluntarily” handed over the account – completely ignoring the pressure and deception I faced. This was a completely unfair experience. If you don’t use their internal systems, EpicNPC offers no protection – even if the scam is obvious and documented. Use EpicNPC at your own risk. There's no real protection for victims – and even worse, they may blame you for getting scammed. PS reply to the answer below: I can't do that in the future, because EpicNPC supoort is not giving me back the account and is banned, suposedly because I'm a scammer while I'm the scammed. Ticket number 221937.

Sorry to hear that. In the future please do not use Facebook, instead use our Trade Guardian system.

Thank You and Appreciation for EpicNPC

This place is a cesspool for rude…

DO NOT USE THEIR TRADE GUARDIAN, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FEES IF THE PURCHASE GETS CANCELLED BY SELLER. This place is a cesspool for rude sellers who will verbally abuse and then bully you. I paid for a cheap item and even used their trade guardian, seller claimed I wasn't paying attention and not responding to his prompts upon transfer, I was there the entire time after waiting 40 mins for him to do transfer, I responded within seconds each time. The idiot couldn't transfer and blamed me for it and refunded, guess what, trade guardian charged me anyway. Imagine buying something, paying for it, waiting an hour on discord for them to transfer, getting yelled at, getting accused of not following direction, then seller flipping out and said I'm done and just leaves and "refunds" but suddenly you're paying a fee for something that never happened. Well that's what happened to me. When I left the corresponding feedback, seller left vile lies as feedback in retribution. And the only way this site resolved it was to delete both feedbacks. Great job on harboring these rude sellers. If you looked through the sellers feedbacks, the seller had a history of this kinda stuff, but I'm sure EpicNPC doesn't care as long as they get their trade guardian fees that you get charged for even if you get nothing but 1 hour wasted waiting and being verbally abused and bullied by their sellers. And no I'm not giving you information to look into this because I've already contacted several of the moderators on the board and they did nothing but wipe feedback including my own for the seller. Now I know why so many sellers have such high feedback. After the rude seller just left and cancelled the order, I got another seller on the site to buy the same account and he transferred the account in under 5 minutes. All the first seller had to say was "hey, sorry for some reason I am not able to transfer this account to you for some reason and I no longer have time to spend on this and will refund you." Instead I got accused of not paying attention and being AFK, when I was sitting there waiting for him to ask me info. Just WOW. After waiting 40 mins too and another 20 waiting for him to transfer. Dude the account isn't even worth 1 hour of my time. I just checked that same seller again even the older negative feedbacks this guy has gotten in the past, has been scrubbed clean. Great job protecting those trade guardian scam charges. Now that I'm seeing all these negative feedbacks here on Trustpilot, it seems TP works the same way. The math isn't mathing. SHADY! And I do still use the site and some of the sellers have been nothing but great, but I refuse to use their scam service Trade Guardian NOR are they getting a cut of anything I purchase. ***Edit to EPICNPC*** Your reply is just as false as the sellers. I'm the one looking at my credit card bill, and I was charged a fee, it was small less than $1 but it is nonetheless a fee. You're either a noobie and don't know how your site works, a liar, or accusing American Express of stealing money. This is the exact response from the seller, as if you and that rude jerk actually has the bill and looking right at it like I was. This is precisely why you are getting a 1 star. This kind of service. In fact I'm starting to believe you might be in cahoots with that rude jerk. And BTW at the time it happened, I posted pictures of the fee that wasn't refunded to a mod I was talking to about this, nothing happened, he didn't even address it, like just ignored it like it didn't even happen. I wrote an email to complain to CS, again nothing happened but some copy pasta crap. GREAT WORK, I see how your site works now. If there's a problem copy pasta and just deny like right now. COPY PASTA your policy all you want, your policy isn't what happens in real life. In retrospect I should have disputed it with Amex and had you guys deal with Amex, but I didn't wanna get banned and have to make a new account again, it wasn't worth less than $1. And very coincidentally that pic of the charge was deleted, not by me.

False review. User refuses to contact support or provide any information in order for us to investigate this phantom $1 fee they claim they were changed. If a transaction is cancelled before anything is exchanged, we issue a 100% refund for the fee. If an item is transferred to our middleman, then cancelled. There is a $5 cancellation fee. The remaining amount is refunded. Fee refund policy is stated here. https://www.epicnpc.com/infocenter/trade_guardian-mm-services.html

I'm a seller and there was an upset buyer bc I had sold the product to someone else but he didn't pay me anything but still gave me a one star and the platform removed it. The platform is very fair and I trust it even more now. Feedback are very important to help people decide to buy from you or not so thank you so much. I've received all good things from my buyers and someone who doesn't buy gets to ruin my reputation which I do not accept. Epicnpc is fair and trustworthy
