First Connect is an absolute must for any agency going independent. They’ve got a great mix of carriers (many of them big names), and the payouts are better than other MGAs. Additionally, the service provided is excellent. I rarely wait longer than a few minutes to have my request acknowledged—and any issues are quickly resolved. Give them a try.

If you can't get appointements yourself, this could be useful. The platform itself is easy to use. However. I really hope agents reach out to carriers first through a direct appointment before using their platform to get appointments. Having a direct appointment is always better. Most of the companies on First Connect, you can get an appointment beforehand. Do your research on this company before signing up. Technically it is a free platform but it's just as easy to reach out to the carriers directly and apply with the same applications.
