I bought a HyperPro, but was disappointed in the way stuff fit together (very hard to change stuff around and change pads and stuff, just doesn’t go together very well, I often had to wiggle stuff for 1-5 minutes to get it to fit). And then I tried to return it within 30 days of receiving the complete HyperPro with all the accessories I had ordered, and they refused to honor their return policy. They offered to only return the accessories that came last. I ordered everything as one package. Very scummy company.

I now own the Hyper Pro, ABX, and FA Kettlebell. Freak Athlete is changing my workouts. My ABX is solid, easy to maneuver, easy to store, and I have no hesitation at all recommending it to anyone. The kettlebell is great. It’s so easy to tweak weight during your workout and it’s just two kettlebells all the way up to 70 pounds. Something that is huge when you get your products from freak athlete is how organized and easy the assembly process is. Every step has hardware separately leveled, the size of the hardware is consistent so there’s not a lot of changing tools, and the videos are simple and clear for each step. My bicep attachment sold out and was delayed. Customer service figured it out for me in hours and were very pleasant to work with, like a friend would be. This is a great company that cares about its Freak Athlete community of customers.
Had an issue with my new Freak Athlete about 6 months after receiving it. Was provided some excellent advice on how to remedy it, but unfortunately a replacement part had to be ordered and shipped (it’s en route). The customer service is EXACTLY what I would expect and hope it to be. This experience has GREATLY increased the likelihood of another purchase from this company.
I purchased the Nordic bench, along with the GHD and leg extension/curl attachments. I also ordered the cable attachment by accident and they processed my return of that with no hassle whatsoever. The quality of the equipment is second to none. The design and tutorial videos are excellent and easy to follow. The detail they put into the packaging alone speaks to the attention to details and quality this company has prioritized. It translates to the equipment itself which has worked flawlessly. The number of exercises that you can do with this one piece and store in such a small footprint is remarkable. I absolutely love mine and feel like I received more than what I paid for! Thank you!

I purchased the HyperPro and realized that I wanted to downsize to a more minimal setup in my home gym. When I ordered the HyperPro, the shipping time surprised me—it came way faster than expected! The packaging was done very well: I especially loved the foam bricks for padding being wrapped in plastic as that helped immensely with reducing the foam spreading everywhere. The packaging itself was immaculate, although I think it was a bit unnecessarily complex. I think the packaging could be simplified a bit. The build quality also seemed excellent! When I had decided to return it, I contacted the customer support, and they were very quick to respond and were helpful and just overall outstanding! We had a good lot of back and forths to organize the return situation, but we eventually figured it out. Their communication was excellent and clear. In the end, they were promptly able to initiate a refund. I would potentially buy some of FreakAthlete's other products again all because their customer service, shipping, packaging, and build quality are excellent, but especially because their customer support was outstanding! I do want to reiterate that the packaging could definitely be improved and simplified for better protection during shipping and the ease of unpacking or repacking for returning it.
