I invested 150K into an opportunity…
I invested 150K into an opportunity fund and I've lost and my return has been 8.8% in the negative. It's going on almost 10 years and all I get is the run arround with no solid answers.

Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the online platform is extremely intuitive, making it simple to navigate complex investment options and build diverse portfolios. People really appreciate the clear reporting tools and the user-friendly help center that make managing long-term investments straightforward. Some reviewers were not happy with the lengthy withdrawal process and significant delays experienced when trying to retrieve funds. Not a happy camper regarding their fund's public offering. They transferred my funds to a third party. I am currently locked out of accessing those funds, despite providing my identity to their third party. I will never invest another dime
I invested initially in 2016 and in the years first 5 years from 2017-2022 returns were pretty solid and I think at least 10% per year and think one year was closer to 20% but last 3 years have been terrible. I think I am down ~5-6% in last 3 years with 2 of them up around 1% flat and one year down 7-8% so none of the part 3 years have come anywhere close to S&P performance. This is pretty crappy during a time when all my other investments were doing well so this has clearly been underperforming. Honestly that is part on me as I really stopped looking at how it was doing and did not really notice how poor returns had been over past 3 years until this year. I am pretty diversified across many of their funds so it is not just as if I happened to be in the wrong fund at the time, To make things even more frustrating I asked to withdraw my funds early last September and was only able to withdraw 15% of my portfolio value as they are merging a bunch of their funds into a flagship fund. Initially they told me I should be able to get my money before the end of the year but here we are in mid march and I am no closer to getting my money. They did post a message in February that they are changing their approach in how they are filing this merger of funds. It feels like they should have been more on top of how to handle this as having no way to withdraw funds for what could potentially be a year and have it stuck in something that is losing value vs inflation is less then ideal. They have been fast to communicate when I have reached out and I am not in any way implying they are shady. It has just not turned out to be a good investment choice last 3 years and on top of that not being liquid enough to get my money out.
Excellent site to get started into purchase of real estate at low entry.
I am pleased with the dividends paid on time, the diverse assets, the transparency through frequent updates/letters sent to investors during tough times, and the easy-to-use interface.
They give you access to the most innovative companies in the world and are always looking for new companies to add.
Great service and very easy to transact with them.
I was skeptical of retail platforms like this at first, but once I started listening to their podcast and jumped in, I regretted not joining the ride sooner. The team is incredible and the user experience on the app is top notch. We are blessed to live in an era where innovative founders like those at Fundrise give us everyday folk a chance to invest in real estate and private companies that used to be untouchable. Thank you!!
Appreciate your feedback, Michael.
Fundrise delivered an opportunity for me to invest in future small private companies. A very easy to understand investment strategy platform. The recent opportunity to invest directly in the upcoming IPO (VCX) is exciting and the Innovation Fund is only one of many of my diverse positions. I’m really excited to see how VCX will perform. IMO get in now!
Th ease of investing in the real estate industry
Quick access through the app. Clear communication Abundance of information
Found Fundrise initially through a book. Signed up, put a bunch of money in, and told my friends. Through appreciation of assets and referral programs I am up about 100% over the past 6 months. Dead serious, though I did have to refer quite a few people. Now my base is even larger and their innovation fund shows no signs of slowing down, especially with 3-4 of their major assets looking to IPO this year and their fund now being listed on the NYSE. Great things coming for Fundrise!
Thanks for sharing, Dade. We're grateful to have investors like you.
Amazing returns. Been in for 10 months. Hoping in 5 years this is my retirement next egg.
Been investing monthly for about a year. Absolutely love the returns I’ve gotten, and the ease of options makes it a great DCA option.
Offering a chance to invest in worthwhile investments and having visions for future growth.
It's being surprisingly easy to invest and the investments have been doing awesome, no complaints 👌
Company led by great management team that know how to vet deals and are a little cynical when investing (good thing because it promotes playing good defense!).
Easy to use investing app that allows investing in markets not readily available elsewhere. So far good returns but never guaranteed as expected.
Customer service was fast and accurate
I have invested in Fundrise for only 10 months. My money has increased 32%. What's not to like?
