Its quick and easy iv never waited more than 5 minutes in line great basin employees are polite and knowledgeable to any questions you might ask and that is what makes it a great experience

Upon signing up for account, the girl helping us could not help us get our SS direct deposit transferred to our new account. Also to date our friend that recommended GB still has not received his rewards for recommending GB. Other than that the service has been great.
We used to bank with a big branch but switched because of the fees and low savings rates. We like that GBFCU is local to home and has a variety of products that will serve our family. The sign up process was a little more in depth than if you go to other banks, but we had our new account opened and ready to use with debit cards within a week. However, 3 months in, we realized we weren’t getting all the benefits and high interest rate on our high yield checking. The customer service guy at GBFCU was really helpful and I’m so glad we have a high yield checking, but I was frustrated that it took us two months to get all the perks of the account because of a system error. I signed up for e-bills online (twice), but it didn’t “take” until I called the branch after not getting my higher interest rate for the second month in a row. I was disappointed, and they couldn’t make it retroactive, so if you switch to this bank, be aware of that. Make sure you do all the steps and verify with the branch. Other than that, I’ve been pretty happy overall and am glad to be banking with a credit union now.

Customer service is superb! From the initial phone call to our meeting with Amber, opening an account, and mostly dealing with fraud was exceptinally well done. The teller noticed that we were stressed after a scam incident and offered us water. Great experience.
