I believed that I had purchased an upgrade from basic to main cabin. This allows for picking your seats. I called Alaska airlines and they said you purchased nothing more than basic fare. I paid hundreds of dollars more for this upgrade. The company made an effort to resolve the issue. I was refunded the company fee.
