good convenience but with added expense and mediocre customer service

Invaluable provides convenience of accessing many auctions houses around the world. But invaluable charges roughly 5% higher bidding premium, does surprise price increases AFTER winning an auction, creates some were billing issues for auction houses and their customer service isn't readily available and doesn't answer issues directly. The convenience is 5 stars but the nickel and diming and problems are 1 star so 3 stars is an appropriate rating. I also had an auction house lose two of the items I won and still hasn't refunded me.

The experience is very comfortable

The experience is very comfortable. I like the online aspect. It prevents me from overbidding in the heat of the moment. My only issue is the placing of a maximum bid. On 2 occasions I had the winning bid, yet it was awarded to another bidder for my highest amount. I set my highest bid as $400. I expected that if no one bid $425, the item was mine, Yet someone else got it for $400.
