Lengthy application process and fees for international payments

After you go through a lengthy application process, which includes a video in which you pretend to teach young children, the next step, if you pass, is being required to sign up for an employee payment platform that charges you 2% per transaction involving currency conversion and approximately $30 USD per year to have an account with the platform. This isn't revealed until after you invest your time doing the practice teaching session.

Dear Dylan, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We truly value the opportunity to address your concerns. Our teachers are compensated based on a structured pay model that includes a base rate plus performance-based bonuses and incentives. Many of our teachers earn over USD15 per hour, with top-performing educators reaching up to USD20 per hour. These rewards are designed to recognize quality teaching and engagement with students. Regarding the payment platform, Payoneer is an independent service provider we use to ensure faster and more secure international transactions. Any service or conversion fees are set by Payoneer, not by LingoAce. We understand these fees can be frustrating, and we continue to explore more convenient and affordable payment options for our global teaching community. We appreciate your feedback and your time, it helps us improve and better support educators like you. If you have any questions, you can always contact your admin on Teams for prompt responses. Best regards, LingoAce

My child enjoy Lingoace lessons because…

My child enjoy Lingoace lessons because the teacher is very engaging and interactive. She takes the extra mile to explain word structure in details to help my child understand and remember the vocabulary. My child has improved his Chinese after attending Lingoace.

Bad as can be

This is a very dishonest business. We have been using them for almost a year by now. Before we renewed, they promised us that we could continue having either 25 minute lessons or go to the 55 min lessons. Soon after we paid the highest package, they claimed that for our child’s level only 55 min classes were possible. We tried 55 min and it turned out not to be efficient. This was accompanied by their attempts to manipulate this decision between my wife and me and also not getting back to us in timely fashion with info we requested. Stay away from this business is my honest recommendation. Now they are trying to remove my review here by pretending that they cannot contact me. I am the one who paid for their highest package so why do they not have my contact details?

Dear Zoran, We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand how frustrating this must have been for your family. LingoAce provides engaging and interactive lessons that make learning enjoyable. The teachers are patient, professional, and well-prepared, tailoring lessons to suit each child’s pace. My child looks forward to classes and has shown great improvement in confidence and language skills. The platform is user-friendly and the support team is responsive. Overall, a positive and rewarding learning experience.

Highly recommended: Flexible and supportive learning experience

My daughter enjoys her Mandarin classes on LingoAce. She's found it helpful in keeping up with her school Chinese classes, especially for a non-native speaker. She likes the gamified lessons and we appreciate her Laoshi's support and patience.
