Bought a dress in January for a wedding for $498 (plus taxes).During the wedding (in June in Germany) some of the flower applications started to fall off. Called Mac Duggal back in the States. They referred me to Nordstrom. Out of warranty - 90 days- . So no joy! The dress is useless for me now.
Both MacDuggal and Nordstrom are giving me the run around, referring me to one another.
According to a lawyer friend of mine here in FL, the state has an "implied warranty" when an item is defective. It says "an implied warranty of merchantability: that the dress should be fit for its ordinary purpose, and that doesn't automatically vanish after 90 days.There is a 4 year statute of limitations for these claims starting from when I bought or discovered the problem." Both companies are stonewalling so far. My first and last dress from MacDuggal, although gorgeous first! This was not a purchase from TEMU at a TEMU price. The 2 companies have a nice scam going between them , it looks.

Because your purchase was made through Nordstrom, any warranty claims or post-purchase resolutions must be handled through the retailer from whom the item was purchased. While we work closely with our retail partners, we are unable to override their policies or issue refunds or replacements for purchases made through their stores.

Very unhappy with McDougall I will no longer be purchasing anything from you based on my most recent experience of trying to return address for my son‘s wedding that I never wore or took the tags off for another dress on your site at the same price because it was outside of the policy return time. Exceptions can be made, and I thought this was awful.

I bought a dress for an upcoming wedding, and it matched up, with all the sizing except for the length. I’ve had to,spend nearly the same cost of the dress on getting it extended. I’m 178cm tall. There’s no denying the quality and I’m sure, had the bride set her heart on us all wearing this dress, sent it back. I just so tired of dress specialist insisting that we come in one height. The length was shorter than advised on the dress measurements. Please please provide extra length options or at least stick to the advertised length.

I was very relieved and happy with the quick response from the Mac Duggal customer service team. They quickly intervened and changed the incorrect shipping address that was stored in the Shop App through Facebook. I’m excited to receive the dress. I have purchased Mac Duggal dresses in the past. They are beautiful unique designs that are high quality.
I had made a very large purchase and had a question concerning the first-purchase discount code. I received an immediate response, referring the request to the appropriate person. Then the very next day, I received a response from that person and a resoultion that made me extremely happy. I realize it was an exception and I did appreciate that very much. The gowns are gorgeous and I have a very hard decision to make. Shipping was super fast and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience overall. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

I live in Australia and I’ve have bought many gowns recently from Mac Duggal for my son’s upcoming wedding. Mac Duggal have an excellent returns policy, so if I have a problem with the fit or style of the dress, I can return it in my mission to find the perfect gown. Unfortunately, my last delivery was held up by FedEx/customs in Australia (its never happened before) and after I contacted the Mac Duggal Customer Care team, the problem was solved within hours and FedEx released my dress.
My first Mac Duggal, topnotch online shopping experience, the dress is gorgeous exactly as it appears online, beautifully made. Fast (international) delivery. Will definitely order again. HOWEVER, one item for Mac Duggal team to seriously note -- better packaging is a MUST, you need to fill the spacing in the box, my dress arrived 'thrown' because there was nothing to contain it in place (which give a sense of cheapness to the customer experience). Or send it in a smaller box. Thus 4* and not 5*. Did I mention the dress is gorgeous, and the sizing perfect (!) per their size chart.

I do 90% of my clothes shopping online. MACDUGGAL provided me with some of the best customer service I've received. I bought multiple dresses, and each and every one of them was very well-made, unique and gloriously beautiful! Unfortunately, our special events were canceled, so I needed to return all of them. The response from MACDUGGAL was incredibly fast and positive. They asked zero questions when they emailed the shipping labels/packing slips to me. I won't hesitate to order from them for my next event. I highly recommend MACDUGGAL dresses for any special occasion, or buy one if you simply want to feel like a Queen!
