My italian pronunciation was terrible before. makes youfluent helped me notice small mistakes, especially when I say longer sentences. It would be nice if it showed more examples of native pronunciation side by side.

I was double billed because my card declined. Several emails before they told me I could cancel myself, but still waiting for my money back. I like the format of the app, but the AI is poor quality. Not much feedback given on how to improve pronunciation. There is no way to have the AI repeat the sentences. If you take too long to speak, it just goes ahead. If you get it wrong the "tutor" either says try again, without help, or doesn't let you try again.

MakesYouFluent sold me an app that claims to "Refine Your Pronunciation" though their AI Bot pronounced a shockingly large amount of the Italian as though it were English, i.e. Way wrong! They would not give me a full refund the very day I signed up even though their website said I could get a refund up to 30 days after subscribing. Glad I used PayPal...they issued the refund for me immediately even when Makes You Fluent would not.

The lessons help me speak dutch more confidently. Sometimes the app misunderstands me when I speak too fast, which is annoying. But it also makes me slow down and pronounce better, so maybe that is not all bad.
