I have malwarebytes on both laptops at home and love it. I purchased it for our 2 phones and had it installed, but then it disappeared. It seemed as if you guys took it off. I wish there were someway I could get a credit for it. I did call and discuss with someone but was basically blown off. The main thing with my laptop is that it states that to change my password I need to reinstall it. I am unable to do that. It is still working, so I guess I will wait until it does not.
I advise my friends on computer matters. Recently a very close friend said he was having strange PC problems. I looked at his system, and his last update for his anti-virus software was 5 years ago! and the company was no longer in business. I had him install MalwareBytes (MB) and after a large cleanup by MB everything is running normally again. In situations like these I always recommend MB because it is so effective.
Responsive customer service and outstanding technical support with a problem one month ago -- have been with them over 20 years. They've protected me from opening bad links. Their Browser Guard feature is essential to have.
Malwarebytes offers strong malware and potentially unwanted program detection, with a clean interface and protection that is easy to configure. Its real-time protection, web protection, ransomware protection, and exploit protection make it suitable as a primary security solution rather than merely an occasional second-opinion scanner. Installation, updates, and everyday use are generally straightforward. There are still some weaknesses. The premium subscription can feel expensive considering the number of additional features included, and some notifications or promotional prompts may be intrusive. Full scans can use noticeable system resources, while advanced users may find the configuration and reporting options somewhat limited. Overall, Malwarebytes is a reliable and user-friendly security product with solid real-time protection. I would rate it four stars because the core security is strong, but pricing, occasional prompts, and limited advanced controls leave room for improvement.
Malwarebytes has saved me and my laptop 100's of times. I've had Malwarebytes over 4 years now and you just can't beat their quality of excellence protecting your items. The geniuses that work at Malwarebytes are something else. The customer service department in unbelievable. Top notch all the way around
best anti virus, anti scam program arond, very easy to use and runs seamlessly without any issues
I have been with Malwarebytes for several years and I have a complete trust in this malware. I have never had any big issues, and I always been warned of a suspicious websites' emails, I feel very well protected.
Have used the basic Malwarebytes for may years and it has been proven to be successful on several occasions keeping my PC suitably protected Recently decided to upgrade my package to include a private VPN following an on-line offer Would certainly recommend purchasing this product
Very easy to enroll, easy to understand. I used the free version for years but decided to upgrade after my credit union said someone was hacking me and them. So far, so good.
The real difficult is in not actually speaking to some one and having to write comments and wait for replies! There was a problem understanding the replies of some assistants and some seemed unsure of what to do. While it is a large organisation with many requests for help, 4 days of negotiations to resolved the problem leaves you frustrated to the max and nearly going elsewhere.
I've been using Malwarebytes now for probably 10 years. Every year it seems to get better in terms of functionality. I have not had any real issues or problems with Malwarebytes. It has kept my computer clean of viruses, trojans, and whatever other nefarious programs are out there on the Internet. I've only had to contact customer service one time, and they were quick to fix my issue. I do use Malwarebytes VPN and I give it a "B". It does slow my connection speed down about 200MB sometimes, but I really don't feel it because I have very fast speeds. I hope they fix slow-down speeds in the future. With all that said, I would recommend Malwarebytes because of its efficiency and reliability.
execellent malwarebyte finder keeps my computer virus free and from fake websites. Vpn is the best even more secure form security..
Malwarebytes has saved my computer more than once.
Has been excellent at catching various attemps to infiltrate my computer. Various summaries are accurate and concise without extraneous comment. Easy to use.
Nobody could find my subscription. Took a few long chats (ugh) to get help. Opened a ticket and finally got an e-mail from Malware stating they found the subscription. This is not professional nor is it a good marketing effort. I still can not open my Malware on my I-Max computer. How can I use if can't open?
I've had Malwarebytes for several years and feel very secure with the protection they provide for my computer and phones. In addition, I have always been satisfied any time I've needed help or had a question.
Horrible customer service - once it’s a real pain in the ass to get out. Find a better service. Became horribly uncooperative!
The product may in fact be the besyt one on the market available to us consumers, but the customer service of this company needs a major overhual (because it sucks) and their pricing structure which changes frequently and advertised discounts arent given after being offered is horrible for consumers and doesnt border on unethical it is. For some added detail I purchased a bundle of licenses 3 for $29.98 at Office Depo. (NOTE--NEVER BUY DIRECTLY FROM MALWAREBYTES as you can always get a much cheaper price but you may have to look hard to find them at brick and mortar stores (or ask your computer repair guy)because they sell out quickly as I'm not the only one who knows their pricing structure sucks and they choose to gouge customers at every chance they can) I activated the bundle on three computers but two of those computers dont work any longer so i removed them from use and wanted to use one on a new computer (new to me) but although i have only ever used one meail to register/activate malwarebytes, this subscription does not apear online under my sign in even though the one computer,(the one im using now has had it since i first activated the license. I could not find the card that has the activation code and not seeing it in my online profile, their customer service department acted like I was trying to steal from them just to use the last 3 months of one of the remaining two licenses I still have. I even sent them a screen shot from my computer showing malwarebytes active license and only 1 of three licenses currently beng used but they said its not enough. I dont have a subscription. Every reason they threw at me were all invalid based on the fact that i literally was open on my malwarebytes program signed in to a subscription which showed on my computer but not their site that i have two open licenses back proving that the error is on their side not mine. But they still refused to honor my subscription or explain how its possible for me to be logged in on my computer with the only login Ive ever used on their system showing im a subscriber with only 1 of 3 licenses in use, but yet they will not budge from their position Im not a current subscriber. THE BRAINS ARE NOT STRONG IN THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT NOR IS THEIR DESIRE TO REALLY HELP WHEN ITS NEEDED BUT THEY DID OFFER TO SELL ME AND INFLATED PRICE SUBSCRIPTION, AND POP UPS CONTINUE TO ADVERTISE NEW SUBSCRIPTIONS WHICH PRIOR TO MY PROBLEM HAD NOT POPPED UP AT ALL. SO I'LL LEAVE IT AT BUYER BE AWARE!
