Malewarebytes was recommended by a trusted friend who does a lot of computer work for us. It seems good but it's hard for a non-techy to truly evaluate. Things that could be improved: when they try to block a site I know is good and I click that I trust it, I get a message that I have to completely re-install Malwarebytes if I'm going to trust a site they've deemed dangerous! WHAT?? Also, they're constantly offering upgrades which I don't really think I need, but their advertising writer makes it seem like I would be in grave danger by not upgrading. The controls already feel like a death-grip and I don't want to block everything I do online with no good reason. I'm cautious but not completely risk-averse. I want trojans and viruses blocked, but I also want to know what's safe to use. I also think that they should try to keep their prices lower and offer senior and military discounts
Have been using Malwarebytes since about 2006-2007; and have found the program exceptional in protecting all our devices. Over the years we have added more and more devices and also arranged installation for our family members. When you have super senior parents we all know how vulnerable they are to this new technology. We install Malwarebytes on their computers and phones; which helps protect them from all these scammers. Sadly we all thought that computers and the internet would help the world; but the amount of money that is scammed is unreal. We all need Malwarebytes.

This is so easy to use and operates in the background. I accidentally entered a site that was suddenly and quickly blocked. I'm not sure I could acted as quickly. I know that Malwarebytes is great for scanning files, etc for malware and also great in helping block questionable sites.
Years ago I was using another well-respected virus protection software package, one that had done well for me a few years. But then, something happened that took my computer down to a paperweight. I could get nothing to work and couldn't recover the computer using any emergency start method I tried. After our new computer, by my daughter's suggestion, I started using Malwarebytes. That had to be over 10 years ago. I have had absolutely no problem with anything since then, nothing at all, everything has been perfect all during my time of using Malwarebytes. I can't recommend the use of their protection software strongly enough. I won't consider anything else. Thanks Malwarebytes for everything.
Malware help done great job , by explain and correcting my six accounts . Two technicians gave they names and case numbers to making help on the follow-ups. Now I just hope account stays in order instead keep adding duplicate coverages. Negative side is company do not give any credit from duplicated cancelled accounts, and autopayment can get account holder in to duplicate coverages.
