I've made many books with Mimeo and I like how they look. I've been doing 8/8 and I find for portraits it's a great size. I have so many negatives and photographs and never really look at them, Mimeo makes that possible and when ordered the books arrive quickly.

I love your product. There are a few comments that might help improve my experience. Adding text to photos can be very challenging as there is no clear format when putting in text. When you have to make corrections, it does strange things. Also there is no easy way to 'centre' text. On the most recent project I have done, the inside cover and back cover is just blank. I would have preferred to put in an image or just a plain grey colour as you do on your hardback books. I am sure there is a reason for this 'blank page' but whatever you can do to haven't option of an image there, it would be great. The colour overall is pretty good but I have noticed on some of my images the colour is a bit washed out and not quite as strong as the original image. I do understand that's very difficult to control, but just wanted to mention it. Thanjj k a again for your help Best regards Robert

They shipped the book via USPS whereas on previous occasions they shipped UPS or Fedex. USPS does not ship to street addresses here. USPS sent the books back, but lost them on route. Mimeo reprinted the books and shipped the new books via USPS AGAIN even after being told to ship them via Fedex or UPS. So now the 2nd batch of books will again be returned to them - delaying delivery once again. it has now been a month since my initial order and I have missed all the key dates for my delivery to others because of these shipping issues and will still be delayed at least another 2 weeks.

This is only a review of Motif, which I assume is owned by Mimeo. I make photo books on the app, and the quality of every book I've received is great. Delivery is fine as well. The app is fine as far as manipulating photos goes, lots of options and formats are available. The only reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5 is that the text part of the app can be glitchy and not particularly user-friendly. It always takes longer than it should to get the text the way I want it, and occasionally, when I want to delete something in a text block, the app will ask if I want to delete the whole project. I've always been alert enough to cancel, but that should never happen. But overall, I'm satisfied with the product and will continue to use it for future books.

The quality of the photo books is fantastic. I'm very happy with the paper quality and the colours of the photos. Of course I process the quality of the photos, brightness mainly, beforehand on my computer using the right monitor settings for the real colours of "printed photos". It's very helpful to create an album using the AI autofill feature. It's very easy to include the photos directly from a MAC using the Photos app. However, it wasn't easy to create photo books from the Mimeo web site, because you need to upload high quality jpeg files (roughly 4-6MB each), from the camera, otherwise the quality is poor and the Mimeo App will notify you of potentially poor results. The only minor issue I have, is with the fonts when writing in a foreign language, eg Greek, where many letters are typed badly, for example the letter pi (π)! Please look into this... The delivery service is excellent to Europe!
