Well to be Honest I was drawn in by their CD Rates and Terms But they've Kept me on as a Customer with their Customer Service, Support and Rates. I was Surprised with their Savings Account Interest Rates, when my money from my CD Matured I Gave It Back and never moved it to open my new Savings Account with a Much Better Rate that Any Competitor Anywhere. Great People, Great Support, Service and the Best Rates Anywhere. Trust me I Looked.

setting up joint accounts is nightmare, they already have my drivers licenses from joint CD's but they require sending documents again, very inflexible and their phone support are unfriendly and not helpful, and trying to add an external account was not accepted, i am going to close my accounts and go elsewhere, the extra percentage isnt worth the hassle of dealing with this bank

Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with! They strung me along for two months with a couple different programs, after about six weeks they told me we can’t do anything for you. After the underwriters like oh we’re all good everything‘s done. Then tell me let’s try a SBA Loan, go through that process for another two weeks then they leave me a message that says they can’t do anything for me stay away from this bank. They’re terrible.

Online account opening went smoothly, transfers worked as expected, customer service was always helpful, and the interest rate is higher than most banks currently offer. The app worked reliably, which is a "must" for me. When my legal name changed I sent a secure message and they worked with me to verify my information and make the requested updates without delay. When I later needed to close my account since I no longer had a need for it, I sent another message and that was handled promptly as well. I never had to make a phone call to accomplish anything, which many introverts and tech-savvy individuals may prefer. There was, of course, a phone number available if I had needed help more quickly or wanted to talk to a person directly. I wouldn't hesitate to use Newtek again for future needs.
