Amazing experience very informative friendly representative.
I have been with Netiva for 16+ years. They never let you know about the latest technology or what's going on. I still have my original phone system. I had a problem a couple of years ago, and the tech couldn't believe how old my system is. I have been trying to get on the newer Nextiva one system. But nobody gets back to me. I have been on hold with them today for 3 hours with no answer from a person. I guess Ringcentral will be getting my future bussiness.

I did not have one bad experience interacting with anyone at Nextiva. From sales to post sales to the individuals that had the breakout sessions leading up to the cutover. I had some issues where either I or sales misunderstood what I was asking for or verified I was getting and that was resolved promptly and fairly. Russell, the PM, was wonderful to work with throughout the project. Not everything was perfect. The only bad experience was not being able to get the Zendesk connector full functional. Right now the connectivity is there but the advertised function is not and I have been told to work with Zendesk to fix the issue. I would like to see Nextiva take more responsibility here and assist the customer more with the integration with Zendesk. Understand that just saying you can connect is not the same as leaving me a functional product that you sold me. I almost gave this review a 3 star all because of this one issue but that is unfair to the rest of the teams and overall project experience. My hope is that this issue will be resolved between Zendesk support and Nextiva support and if not that Nextiva will step up.
Simple service to use and great customer service.
The agent was really helpful in setting up the account
I will write a review EVERYDAY until someone from Nextiva picks up the phone and calls me. The level of service and their incompetency have no equal. For over a month we have been stuck in onboarding hell with them. No less than 5 messages into them without a call back. I have filled out their ridicilous survey's only to get another survey on top of that one. Now, when I tell them to cancel our contract I get an email asking "what's wrong?". LOOK AT THE EMAIL THREAD, LOOK AT THE REFERENCE NUMBERS, LOOK AT THE TICKET NUMBERS THAT ALL RELATE TO OUR ACCOUNT. Absolutely appalling. Now, shortly I will get an automated response to this review and no contact will be initiated on their part.
Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry for the experience and the frustration this has caused. I just tried giving you a call but wasn’t able to reach you. We do have a resolution available and I’d like the opportunity to connect and review it with you directly. -Mackenzie @ Nextiva
Natalia was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful. She assisted with assigning phone numbers, extensions, and creating a call flow, and helped test to make sure all functions were working as intended. This was an excellent interaction, and makes me excited to continue working with Nextiva!
It was a little hard to understand my representative. Ultimately, we got things set up
This was a quick install and Ivan was super helpful.
Professional great service. Work with our Support Representative Sam. Very professional and very proactive in communicating during onboarding. Highly recommended.
Superb service. Thanks!
We had a very good experience in setting up and configuring our new VoIP system. Everyone was very helpful, and everything is working as it should. Nextiva people are the best.
The sales and onboarding were methodical, thorough, and friendly! Very fast and easy process!
not a smooth way to connect, too many dept to go to.
I’ve had an excellent experience with Nextiva. The platform is reliable, easy to use, and offers a wide range of communication tools that help keep our team connected and productive. The call quality is consistently clear, and the system integrates seamlessly with our daily workflow. What really stands out is Nextiva’s customer support. Their team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help resolve any questions or issues quickly. The setup process was straightforward, and the user-friendly interface made the transition smooth for everyone on our team. Overall, Nextiva has improved our business communications significantly. I highly recommend it to any organization looking for a dependable and feature-rich communication solution.
I like the set up a lot. I had to wait a long time on hold for customer service.
Natalie made the onboarding process seamless and enjoyable!
**One star — and that's generous. Powerful on paper, painful in practice.** I run an operation where communications aren't optional, and Nextiva has turned routine tasks into multi-hour and multi-day ordeals. Two examples tell the whole story. **The fax bridge is functionally broken.** It processes roughly **one page every 1–3 minutes**. That sounds almost comical until you do the math: an 80+ page fax ties the system up for *hours* — not seconds, not minutes, hours. Fax-to-digital is a solved problem; plenty of services push the same document through in a fraction of the time. Whatever Nextiva built on the backend is so slow it's effectively unusable for anyone sending real document volumes. I've sat watching pages crawl through one at a time wondering why I'm paying for a "business communications platform" that can't handle a basic business communication. **Simple configuration changes are a hostage situation.** I wanted to clone a phone's configuration to another handset — about as basic as it gets. I couldn't do it myself, because a custom config Nextiva pushed to our account *locks me out of changing settings in my own portal.* So a task that should've taken thirty seconds turned into a support call. And that call took **two days** to resolve. Two days. To copy one configuration to another phone. Read that again. You don't control your own setup, and the people who supposedly do can't move quickly when you need them. That's the pattern with Nextiva: the marketing leans heavily on reliability and service, but the day-to-day reality is features that are technically present and functionally broken, paired with a portal that gives you the illusion of control while quietly taking it away. If your workflow depends on faxing or on managing your own configuration, look elsewhere before you commit.
Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry for the experience and the challenges you’ve outlined. We’ve located your account and will be reaching out directly to review this with you and better understand what happened. -Mackenzie @ Nextiva
