The process is very easy to open a claim. The third party company reached out to me in a decent timeframe and my garbage disposal was fixed in no time.

Incompetent money hungry company

Never use Old Republic if you want to keep your sanity. Any time an issue comes up with a work order, you have to sit on the phone on hold for hours before getting to someone who inevitably cannot help you, then be transfered over to someone else, wait another hour, only then to be told something extremely unhelpful. They say they will call you back but they never do. They do not communicate internally either so no one ever knows what's going on. They are extremely money hungry and will do everything in their power to hold on to every penny and give you the bare minimum. They often don't even adhere to their own rules and will decide to not cover things that should be covered, or will say one thing over the phone, nor give it to you in writing so you can't refer back to it, then go back on their word. This company, as with most home warranty companies, is run by a bunch of money hungry criminals. Do not give them a dime, but if you do, do everything in your power to bleed them for everything they have, because they will do the same to you.

Easy peazy transaction One online service request and the next day a technician called to schedule my appointment. He looked over my appliance, diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts and came back out the repair. No issues. Old republic even called to verify the job was complete. Happy customer.

I was very satisfied with the repair…

I was very satisfied with the repair provider, who identified and resolved the problem in one visit. I did not find the communication with ORHW entirely clear regarding how the provider would schedule with me. I also did not receive information about how the $100 service call fee was to be paid. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.
