Worst onboarding support we have received. Lack of product knowledge across all areas. They tell me watch videos so I can teach myself - not what we pay them for. They also lied about capabilities during sales process. If they had been honest we would not have selected them in the first place. Giving 2 stars because they are open to product feedback and some parts work well - even when others don't. Been using 4 months

PAYCOM IS OVERLY COMPLEX AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND BASIC REPORTS. Having used ADP AND PAYCHEX for many years. Picking up those systems was easy. Using paycom is very frustrating. Basic things like looking up employees, getting reports for workers comp, etc, its very cumbersome. On top of that, its very slow. They lie to you and say it will be faster on your real world environment but its ALWAYS slow. Loads at least twice as a slower than competitors. If you really want to take the leap, don't sign any contracts, do month to month. I don't think its worth it. Other systems have bad reviews because of their support. However, you have to think how often you really need to call support, you deal with the software on a weekly basis. You can deal with crappy support once or twice a year than get white hair running this software. If you have a good thing going elsewhere, STAY THERE.

Had to use them as a third party service to complete a background check. It requires a picture of your license but I accidentally picked the wrong photo but it took it anyway and there was absolutely nothing I could do to change it. The entry screen ceased to exist. I feel like being able to edit the photo is an important feature but evidently no one considered that when writing the code...

We were able to figure out the inconsistencies within our system to make it look more aligned and uniformed. Helped with tips on how to make some processes easier and look at tools that we did not know we had available.

Paycom changed the way our Practice functions within the employee space. It streamlined payroll, recruitment, time and attendance, performance management and benefits administration. One minute we were doing things through a very antiquated legacy system and the next minute, Paycom brought us into the 21 century! Now, we do eveything on mobile devices and it's so efficient. They have terminated my account for one week just because the address was wrong by one number only so I fixed it and than they reopened my account and said everything was fine and the same day they terminated my account and I lost many customers. What a trash company

Lost a great job opportunity because paycom did not finish my background check and the delay was verifying my high school. How are you going to be able to verify my college but not my high school when you need to send in a high school transcript to attend college? Started calling all of my references and old jobs immediately. They finished almost all of it in a week but never came back to my file to check off one last thing and I lost my job opportunity because of it.

Our current specialist is great and is proficient with Paycom. I only gave 4 stars because we have been with Paycom for several years, and some of the setup seems outdated and clumsy to use now. Paycom has its quirks and there are a lot of things that could be improved. I hate the new update. It’s a good idea, but needs more customization. There’s lots of redundancy in the program and that makes it more complicated than it should be. Support is strong though and if I need help, I usually get it right away.

From the financial side of things, Paycom is pretty easy to work with. There are reports for almost anything you could imagine (and probably some that you haven't even thought of!). And the ability to export a report in a format that can be transferred to our financial software is definitely a plus!
