This is my second sleepypod mobile pet bed. My first dog easily chewed the zipper, which should be hidden - first safety issue. I bought another because of the crash test rating, but I am very disappointed by the restraint tether. The tether attachment is plastic, and when my puppy pulled against it, it separated. This has happened twice. Because it would be easily ingested, the tether has now been removed, which is not a good thing. A restraint system in a pet car carrier should be the most secure part of the product, and this design does not give me confidence. Owners should be aware of this before relying on it for car travel. I had also forgotten how very hot it is inside the mobile pet bed in a car. My CKCS is easily overheating even with the AC on full blast. Black inside and netting isn't a great option.
Did not work for my deep-chested dog. She slipped out of it (within about 5 minutes) and seemed uncomfortable almost immediately. I followed up with a personal trainer, confirmed the fit was wrong, and then a SleepyPod representative informed me the return window had passed. I'm posting this so other deep-chested dog owners can know that this harness may not be a good fit for your dog. I read this is a common issue for deep-chested dogs.
I spent $400 to get all of my dogs Sleepypod harnesses, and now I feel extremely foolish because I fell hard for their marketing to responsible dog owners!! The harnesses never worked properly, not even once. Even though I got the correct fit for my dogs, the Sleepypod was not compatible with my cars seatbelts. When I contacted customer service, they told me I would have to get a different car. And this is for a normal, run of the mill SUV!! But the truth is, it didn’t work in any vehicle I tried it in. So I settled on just using the harnesses for my dogs for walks but not buckling them in while I looked for another car harness (because the build of the harness looked decent enough) and if I wasn't going to be able to return them maybe I could at least use them for walks. THEN the quality issues started!! The inner core of the harness gets twisted as your dog wears it and there is no possible way to get inside the harness and fix it. The Velcro located on the sides of the harness starts falling apart and becomes threadbare after only a few months of use. The reflective strip on the side of the harness that reads “PPBS” peels off and starts flaking everywhere. And the buckles will never stay tightened so the whole thing is just way too big if you don’t adjust it every time. Overall, this is a terrible product. The fit is SO weird and the quality is terrible even with light use. Stay away!
Sleepypod is a very nice company, until you buy the product. Then they disappear, so if you want some help to change a product to a different size or send it back, nobody answers. And obviously, their harness sizing guide and AI doesn't work.
I am extremely disappointed with Sleepypod’s customer service. I was about to place an international order worth over $600 for three Clickit Range harnesses and matching leashes. Before completing such a significant purchase, I simply asked whether they offered any discount or promotion for large orders. I contacted them twice, both through their website chat and by email. I received no reply at all. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I only wanted to know if there was any available discount before spending hundreds of dollars with the company. For a premium brand selling high-end safety products, I expected at least the courtesy of a response. Ignoring a potential customer who is ready to spend more than $600 is simply unacceptable. Excellent products may deserve an excellent reputation, but customer service is also part of the experience. Unfortunately, in my case, there was none
The harness is simple to put on our dog and it is reasonably easy to secure him with the seatbelt in the car. It keeps him in place while we drive.
My 2 kittens had problems going to the vet.... Until Sleepypods. I highly recommend!
Great product! This carrier is a great fit for my chiweenie. The carrier is roomy and comfortable. Although I will use this carrier for my dog, it seems especially good for cats. My family member’s cat crawled into it immediately. I think she liked the dark, tunnel-like design

Love the safety harness for my dog. The first one I ordered was a bit small so a quick and easy exchange has my dog riding safely in style. The color is bright and makes it easy to find.
My two dogs use Sleepypod harnesses. Its well constructed, easy to adjust, easy to use, keeps my dogs secure in the vehicle. This one came with a new S clip which I have not tried as I still use the old ones. Had to replace one harness as friends who looked after one of my dogs let her chew on it. They are quite pricey but safety comes first.
My GS is a handful. She can get out of anything and after 5 different brands and systems, I tried Sleepypod. Fantastic!!! Sorsha is comfortable and the system is proven to distribute pressure in case of a vehicle accident. I couldnt have asked for anything better than peace of mind. Thanks Sleepypod!
We had one ‘**ll’ of a time getting our 75 pound and 85 pound - nine (9) month old - lab pups to sit in the back seat of my husband’s Jeff Wrangler this afternoon. We followed all your directions. The harnesses fit beautifully. However, when it came to securing them into the seat belts, the pups ended up all tangled up and twisted the seatbelts. It was an absolute disaster to drive them to their Vet appointment today. I guess it is nice for you to show a very small dog able to sit comfortably in the harness/seatbelt on your video. Are big dogs able to do the same? I will call you tomorrow to see if there is a solution - otherwise these contraptions will be returned to you…. It was exasperating to deal with these today!!!
My dog harness has a few issues: - big and bulky on my dog, despite measuring it and getting the appropriate size - it doesn't have a loop on the front/chest which is important for leashing my dog when we are walking - when the seat belt is through the back of it my dog can barely lay down and just why is the whole time in the car because she has to sit
I was sent the incorrect sizes for my sleepy pod inserts. I have emailed you and haven’t heard anything back. I love my sleepy pods, but am hoping for a response regarding the inserts.
