shipping was great, price was good. Only thing i wasn't happy about was the sale price on filament was canceled because I had a 35 dollar off voucher. I feel that sale price should still be honored.

Hi Ben,
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you were happy with the shipping and pricing overall. Regarding the voucher and sale discount, our system currently does not allow multiple discounts to be combined. We understand this can be frustrating and will pass your feedback to our operations team for consideration in future improvements. We truly appreciate your support and understanding!

It would have been nice if the person I was dealing with had asked which laser I was using before selling me a cord, with very expensive shipping costs, that I cannot use, or return.

Hi Sandi,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re really sorry for the frustration this caused and understand how disappointing it is to receive an item you can’t use—especially with high shipping costs involved. Your feedback is truly appreciated, and we’ll take it as a reminder to be more thorough in confirming product compatibility before placing orders. Please feel free to reach out to our technical support team at [email protected] directly so we can review your case and see what we can do to help.

The filaments arrived super fast. The quality is also great. However, the shipping costs for both items, which came from a warehouse in the EU, are far too expensive; I expected them to be cheaper.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your feedback! We’re really glad to hear the filaments arrived quickly and that you’re happy with the quality — that’s wonderful to know.
We understand your concern about the shipping cost. Although the filaments were shipped from our Germany warehouse, they are actually produced in our China warehouse. Even so, shipping fees, handling, and logistics for smaller orders can make the cost feel high, and we’re continuously exploring ways to make this more affordable for our customers.
We truly appreciate your support and honest input — it helps us keep improving!
Warm Regards,
Snapmaker
They dont sell proper spare parts, only full modules that is wasteful and expensive.
Otherwise they make truly solid 3d printers.
Reply from Snapmaker2026-02-03
Hi Martin,
Thank you for your feedback!
We’re glad to hear you find our 3D printers solid and reliable. Regarding spare parts, some components are provided as full modules rather than individual pieces. This approach is designed to make replacements easier and more reliable, as certain parts can be difficult to install on their own.
We appreciate your understanding and your input — it helps us continue improving our products and support.
Warm Regards,
Snapmaker
They are always good at staying in touch and my order arrived quickly. The filament works great with my U1. The only downside is the shipping cost. Ten dollars for one roll of filament is really high.
Reply from Snapmaker2026-02-03
Hi Paul,
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback — we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We’re happy to hear your order arrived quickly and that the filament is working great with your U1 — that’s exactly what we love to hear!
We also truly understand your concern about the shipping cost. International shipping, warehouse locations, and carrier fees can sometimes make small orders feel expensive, and we know that’s frustrating. We’re continuously working on improving our logistics and exploring better shipping options to make this more affordable, especially for single-item orders.
In the meantime, many customers find it more cost-effective to order multiple rolls together when possible to reduce the per-item shipping cost. Still, your feedback is important and helps push us to do better. Thanks again for your support!

The Artisan is a great machine, and has been very reliable since we installed it almost 3 years ago.
The Luban software for 3D printing works well, 8 out of 10. The laser portion of the software, especially for the 2W laser, relative to part referencing is not intuitive and gets a 4 out of 10 for me. The milling portion of Luban should include an option for “Z level” machining that would be very helpful for 3D shapes, and also different options for initially leading the cutting tool tip into the material such as ramping and spiraling. These functions would be very helpful and would prevent overloading the cutting tool during lead in moves. I give the milling module a 6 out of 10.
In summary, the Artisan machine and hardware components are top notch and have been very, very reliable….Luban is weak in several areas and has forced me to use other software/CAM systems to generate programs…..
One other suggestion…..On the machine controller, please provide a simple one touch (Work piece reference) button to return the machine back to part zero, to prepare the machine for the next part….This function would save a lot of time as I constantly run small batches h production (10-20pcs) and simple wish to re-run the same program over and over. There is currently a 1 touch button for machine reference, please provide a reference button to send the machine back to the work piece origin as well….especially useful for laser engraving.
Many thanks,
John Bradford

Hi John Bradford,
Thank you so much for the thoughtful and detailed review!
We’re really glad to hear your Artisan has been reliable for nearly three years — that’s exactly the kind of long-term performance we aim for. It’s also great to know Luban is working well for your 3D printing workflow.
We truly appreciate your candid feedback on the laser and CNC features in Luban. I’ll make sure all of this is passed along to our software and product teams. Feedback like this directly helps shape future improvements. Thanks again for your support and for taking the time to share such practical insights from real use!

SUPPORT IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!
You purchase a machine for 2500 Euro and when you try to run it for the first time you have issues. You enumerate those issues with a link to a video showing the issues. Every time I have sent a support request I get a generic "Look at our documentation page link". None of my issues were addressed and no help provided. It takes at least 3 replies before you get anyone to help... if they do.
The Artisan product is nice but I suggest you buy a printer, laser and CNC from the top companies so you get better support and purpose-built machines. The Artisan is good for a very patient beginner.
The Luban software is very limited, it seems to have all the features you'd expect but they don't quite work as eloquent as you'd expect for a 2500 Euro product.

Customer service and Tech support are A1.
Got the Snapmaker U1 on Kickstarter.
This is my 8th 3d printer. When this works it puts all others to shame. Had a bunch of issues but tech support has been responsive and sent me the parts necessary to fix the machine.
Software needs some fixes ie if you are printing a full plate and one piece is bad I can’t seem to find a way to stop printing that one piece.
Creality has it.
Heads are overly complicated and difficult to clear out clogs.
Generates almost no poop.
Speed is great.
Been using PLA , PETG and TPU and getting fantastic prints.

Our hotend got broken because of a bad print. It got bent by the printed modell and was no longer useable.
The customer service answered to us that they were not able to help because the dual extruder for our F350 was a few month out of warranty.
Delivery of the new spare part was quick but the part is expensive.
Reply from Snapmaker2026-01-20
Hi ks,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that the replacement part was delivered quickly, but we completely understand your frustration regarding the circumstances and cost.
Warranty coverage is indeed limited by time. We realize this can be disappointing, especially when the part is costly. Your feedback about the price and support process is very valuable — it helps us consider ways to improve both our product durability and service policies.
We appreciate your honesty and hope that, despite this issue, your F350 continues to serve you well. If you encounter any further difficulties or have suggestions, our team is always happy to assist and listen.

Slow communication and actual product has failed on me. It’s been an expensive mistake to purchase from Snapmaker. My machine has a failed touchscreen cable. You can’t just replace the cable. They initially thought it was a bad connection on the controller. Bought that but after having outside help, I discovered the controller works fine but the cable from the touchscreen to the controller can not transmit data. It’s a $100 repair and that is ridiculous!
Reply from Snapmaker2026-01-14
Hi Rebekah Jensen,
Thanks for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry for the frustration this issue has caused, and we understand why this situation feels disappointing—especially given the time and cost involved.
Regarding the touchscreen cable: based on feedback from our technical team, replacing only the touchscreen cable involves significantly more labor and risk. During the replacement process, it’s easy to accidentally damage internal components of the touchscreen, which could lead to further issues. For this reason, our technical support recommends replacing the entire touchscreen assembly to ensure reliability and avoid additional damage.
If you would still like to proceed with purchasing a replacement touchscreen, please email us at [email protected]. We will apply for a discounted price for you to help reduce the repair cost.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and apologize again for the inconvenience this has caused. Your feedback is important to us, and we’re committed to helping you get your machine back to normal operation as smoothly as possible.

Purchased a printer, within 48 hours the printer was removed from the US site, my enclosure and quickswap came in but the printer wasnt sent. After being asked to provide an address in the contiguous US (after paying extra to ship to alaska), i was told that there wasnt actually a printer they could send me. After being told to either send them more money for a bigger printer that could be shipped to alaska, I found that they were still for sale in canada, this was a debatably good idea to bring up, communication got worse and the information needed for forwarding was difficult to communicate. After a while, and this review, it went into internal discussion for a few days. Just earlier i was told that communication was made with the canadian warehouse, and that customs/shipping had been saught and aquired, and that if still interested i could accept it. I am, and am incredibly thankful for this resolution, im a bit sad it took this long to make it happen but i recognize sometimes these things happen, websites wig out and stock flies off shelves at the end of holliday sales.
I loved my original snapmaker 2.0, i got it at launch and after a month i moved, and my controller / print heads were stolen, its unfortunate that when i was able to purchase one it came at such an inopportune time, and had some difficulties comunicating a solution, but the resolution provided was far more than expected. I'm thankful this could be worked out.

Hi Porter,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment this situation has caused, and we truly appreciate your patience throughout the process.
After carefully reviewing the entire case with our customer service and logistics teams, we’d like to clarify what happened:
You originally purchased the A350T Bundle. At that time, the A350T was out of stock in our own US warehouse, so our team attempted to source inventory from our US Amazon warehouse. Unfortunately, Amazon is unable to ship the A350T directly to Alaska, which is why we initially reached out to ask if you could provide an alternative address in the contiguous US.
During this communication, the remaining Amazon inventory of the A350T was fully depleted. We sincerely apologize for the repeated back-and-forth this caused. To make up for the inconvenience, our customer service team offered you the option to upgrade to the Artisan at our best possible discounted price. Since the Artisan is well stocked in our own US warehouse, it can be shipped directly to your original Alaska address. For any items already shipped, we also offered to provide return shipping labels if needed.
However, we completely understand and respect your decision not to proceed with the upgrade.
While there is limited A350T stock remaining in our Canada warehouse, that warehouse does not support shipments to the United States, which unfortunately prevented us from fulfilling the order through that route. We recognize that this led to prolonged communication, delays, and understandable frustration—especially with your enclosure and Quick Swap Kit arriving while the printer itself could not be delivered.
We are truly sorry that this experience did not reflect the reliability you previously had with your Snapmaker 2.0, nor the level of service we strive to provide. We also sincerely regret that, after your positive history with Snapmaker, this purchase turned into such a difficult process.
Please know that our customer service and logistics teams are actively coordinating and remain committed to supporting you. If there is anything further we can assist with—whether it’s resolving the current order, exploring alternative solutions, or providing additional support—please don’t hesitate to contact Snapmaker. We genuinely hope to have the opportunity to restore your confidence in us.

Updated - Major Hardware and Software Issues (4-Star Experience)
I have changed my review from 1 star to 4. Snapmaker fixed allmost all my concerns and they did it well. I only gave the 4 stars because there software is definitely not to industry standards however they help me get my machine to work perfectly. I hope that they commit to improving their software.
I have owned this printer for just over a week and have yet to achieve a single successful print. While I appreciate the responsive tech support, the machine’s reliability and software ecosystem have been deeply disappointing compared to my experiences with Bambu Labs and Creality.
Hardware & Build Quality Issues
Warped Build Plate: From the first day of setup, the build plate pops up in the center. The plate is significantly thinner than those on my Bambu Labs A1 or Ender 5 Max. While it seems to stabilize once the bed is fully heated, the thin material is a major design flaw.
Nozzle Temperature Spikes: Mid-print, the nozzle temperature inexplicably jumps to 450°C. The only way to stop this is to power down the machine, which naturally ruins the print and forces a complete restart.
Replacement Concerns: Tech support is sending a new build plate, but if the replacement is the same thickness/design, I expect the same "popping" issue to persist.
Software & Connectivity Frustrations
Poor Monitoring: The proprietary software is difficult to use. Furthermore, when using Snapmaker Orca, there is no way to monitor prints remotely—a feature that is standard and seamless with other major brands.
Setup & Instructional Content
Documentation Failures: The QR codes provided in the manuals did not work, making the initial setup more difficult than it should have been.
Fragmented Tutorials: While the individual instructional videos are high quality, they are poorly organized. Having to hunt for the "next" video on YouTube is inefficient.
My Suggestion for Improvement: Please combine your instructional videos into one comprehensive assembly video for each specific package you sell. Once a customer orders a specific kit, you should email them the link to the full, unified video for that package.

Hi Bryan,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly understand how frustrating this experience has been—especially after owning the printer for over a week without achieving a successful print. We sincerely appreciate your patience and your acknowledgment of our technical support team’s efforts.
Please allow us to address your concerns point by point:
1. PEI Build Plate Bulging
Regarding the bulging issue with the PEI build plate, our technical support team has already arranged a replacement for you. Your feedback has also been escalated to our Quality Control team for further evaluation and optimization.
If the replacement PEI build plate shows the same behavior, please contact our technical support again. We will continue to work with you until the issue is fully resolved.
2. Nozzle Temperature Spikes
Concerning the unexpected nozzle temperature increase, our technical support team has reached out to request additional information and logs. These details are essential for determining whether the issue is related to firmware, temperature sensors, or other components, and we appreciate your cooperation as we investigate further.
3. Software & Snapmaker Orca Connectivity
Thank you for your feedback on Snapmaker Orca. We would like to clarify that direct connection is now supported, and we appreciate your input as it helps guide future software improvements.
4. Documentation QR Codes & Instructional Videos
We completely understand the confusion this caused during the initial setup process.
The issue with the QR codes in the manuals has been forwarded to our technical documentation team for correction.
Regarding the assembly videos, our video team has already consolidated the Artisan assembly tutorials into a dedicated YouTube playlist to make them easier to follow. Your suggestion to provide a single, comprehensive assembly video for each package—and to proactively share the link after purchase—is extremely valuable and has been shared internally for further consideration.
We fully understand how these issues may have affected your confidence in the machine, particularly given your prior experience with other brands. Your feedback is invaluable to us, as it directly contributes to improving both our products and the overall user experience.
Thank you again for your honesty and patience. Please rest assured that our team remains fully committed to supporting you and resolving these issues as efficiently as possible.

I bought the artisan with rotary mech. and I had the same problem everyone else had - the cable was too short so I had to buy the extension...it came quick and was cheap no big deal. What turned it around was that when i built the enclosure i snipped that door sensor wire and snapmaker is sending me a new one for free so overall you guys are cool by me. I bought the Snapmaker U1 via Kickstarter and with the stretch goal reward some additional filament. Both Packages were delievered very fast and convenient.
The only reason not to give 5 stars is the relatively high shipping costs to my country (switzerland), which is on the same level like a filament-spool.

2025 at 3:36 PM Ruben Cabrera This is in response to my purchase of the U 1 3-D printer. Since I received it, I’ve had more failed prints From this printer that any of the other six printers that I have, the prince just fell some of them come off of the supports the bed doesn’t heat up evenly. There has been stringing issues. I’m very disappointed in the seven or $800 that I wasted, I ordered the cover for it and I’m thinking about canceling that order. I see no reason to pour more money into a machine that’s in capable of printing just some basic prints.

The whole Shop experience from order to delivery was really good and delivery was fast.
The only downside is, that delivery /send dates where off. On the shop it said fulfilment date around april - it seems it was meant april 25, not april 26. Thats good, ofcourse! but it questions me, which information on the shopsite is faulty or not complete too...
Reply from Snapmaker2025-11-24
Hi Philipp,
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you had a positive experience with ordering and that your delivery was fast.
Regarding the fulfillment date, many customers who purchased the SnapDryer Bundle are also U1 backers. Since the U1 is still in pre-order, the SnapDryer Bundle is displayed with a pre-order shipping date of April 2026. However, when processing orders, we review each customer’s printer type and arrange shipping according to the actual printer they have. Your note helps us identify areas to improve the clarity of the information on our shop site. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
