I purchased the presidential box for my husband, it was supposed to be $1000 worth of brand name clothes for just under $600. We received 1 brand name item, Cole Hahn Shoes, worth about $119. Everything else was awful, cheap off brand. I have been trying to get a refund and return these items and they have refused to refund my money. It’s a scam to charge you obscene prices for poor quality products that over priced and promised quality that they do not deliver.

Poor Quality, Poor Style, No Refund Option
I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Stately. The clothing I received was far below the quality I expected for the price. Most of the items felt cheaply made, nearly everything was manufactured in China, and the shoes were entirely plastic with a strong chemical odor when I opened the box. The styling also completely missed the mark. My wife and three teenage daughters watched me try everything on, and we all agreed that the clothing looked outdated and wasn’t remotely close to the style I was hoping for. None of us could believe these were the items a professional stylist selected. The biggest disappointment came when I decided the service wasn’t for me. Every item was brand new with the tags still attached, but Stately refused to issue a refund. Instead, they would only offer store credit, forcing me to spend more money with a company I no longer wanted to do business with. If you’re considering Stately because you expect high quality clothing, personalized styling, and a customer friendly return policy, my experience was the opposite. I would not recommend this service.

Finally, a Styling Service That Gets Me
I've been with Stately for about 8–10 months, and I honestly couldn't be happier. Every shipment has felt like it was chosen specifically for me. In all that time, I haven't had to return a single item because my stylist has absolutely nailed my style. What really sets Stately apart is the consistency. I've tried other styling services, and they usually start out great for a month or two. Then the stylist changes, the quality of the selections drops, and suddenly you're returning half the box. That has never happened with Stately. At this point, almost my entire wardrobe has come from Stately. I never would have bought as many pairs of shoes on my own, but they've consistently sent shoes that perfectly complement the outfits, and I've loved every pair. Yes, it's a little expensive, but for me it's absolutely worth it. I don't have to spend time shopping anymore, and I know that when a box arrives, it's going to fit my style and work with what I already own. That's incredibly valuable. Please let my stylist know they're doing an outstanding job. Whatever system you're using to maintain that consistency—keep doing it. It's the reason I'm still a happy customer months later.

Buyer beware- I loved the idea of…
Buyer beware- I loved the idea of someone else curating some outfits for me- mainly because I found myself needing more variety in my wardrobe. Well, here I am 1-Presidential order paid for, 5 months and 7 returned shipments later and have yet to receive a complete order. I’ve provided feedback with specific concerns, styling directions, call with a stylist, and they still can’t get it together. If that’s not reason enough to scar you away, their customer service department is an absolute joke- sure, they respond, but there’s little attempt of a reasonable solution. My two cents, take your money and spend it elsewhere- I know I am. To respond to Stately’s comment- yes, they offered a $262.11 voucher that must be used on their products… ok, that’s probably reasonable on the surface; however, Stately has made its position clear, “we have no products in our product line to offer you any replacement items”. so the real question is, what am I supposed to spend the $262.11 on? Nothing is the answer. My position stands that if you’re looking for this type of service, run away from Stately. You will not receive their stated “value” for the upfront cost of their “service”. They seem to think that consumers don’t have a choice.

We understand you've requested a higher amount to account for the inconvenience experienced, but our policy does not include compensation beyond the value of returned merchandise. We recognize you're frustrated with the number of shipments and the styling process, and we regret that this led to the cancellation of your subscription. That said, we've made a good faith effort to resolve this within our policy, and the coupon issued remains available for you to use.
