Simply amazing from start to finish. Shrub End Colchester Unit. Super staff, polite, smart, helpful, nothing too much trouble. Everything explained clearly and followed up by email if required. Unit was clean dry and everywhere well lit. Access was easy even on top floor and security first class throughout the whole complex. Prices were very reasonable. There were no comparable units anywhere for 20 miles and so many of those were dirty and just a large metal container in the middle of nowhere without ample lighting and with muddy access. I would not hesitate to use them again, cancellation simple and ok at last minute on end of the month used. Terms and conditions easy to understand. Would not hesitate to use them again any time. PLEASE BELIEVE!!! every review on rate increases!, DON’T rent here!, management DON’T do anything!, they blame corporate!! AND they say "I don't know when the rate increases!!" Management knows and they are liars!!. Just moved in 3 months ago on a special. The rate doubled on a 10x12 on the 4th month. I questioned how long will the rate remain at this special prior to moving in. Management didn't know and had no clue. When that 4th month came, they don't work with you BUT they have all the information to give you when and why the rate went up! Had I known this, I would've never moved in this place. StorageMart brought out the previous place and StorageMart is the worst of them. YES!! They are a rip off! The rate continously goes up! Especially within a 2wk notice. Customer service (management) is terrible when you have to LIE for the business! StorageMart DON'T deserve a star!! DON'T believe the hype on how good they are. If you're considering StorageMart on Metcalf Ave, reconsider. The manager physically assaulted my wife, accusing her of trespassing and grabbing her in a way that worsened her back injury. Police got involved and seemed more concerned about the assault than anything else. I wouldn’t recommend trusting them with your safety or belongings.

East Kent's location in East Vancouver rips people off in the same way as any other locations they operate. StorageMart is known as a sleazy sneaky business after I spoke to my friends who left this storage. The way they operate sets people to be ripped off. I paid for climate control but there is NO climate control. I've decided to move out and will never look back.

Our company has multiple units here and the manager, Paul, was super helpful and patient when we needed some assistance with paperwork. The facility is very secure and clean and we have only had positive experiences.

Storage mart is not safe secure storage!!! The ceilings of the units are simple mesh covers that is cable tied together!!! And your items and on clear view as anyone can get on top and loom in!!! There have been a number of thefts at the Maidstone and tonbridge branches and due to the way your insurance policy is worded and the lack of security such as cctv the police can’t do anything and your insurance claim will be rejected!!! Avoid this company at all cost!!!!

Watch out for introductory specials. My rate went from $45 to $60 for the smallest possible unit after just over three months. I am very disappointed.

I also used to rent from Minikahda and they were fabulous. StorageMart on the other hand.... First, after 3 months they will raise your rent approximately 15%. This is in the fine print, so read carefully. Then they will continue to increase your rent every few months. When I questioned why I was paying hundreds of dollars more than there advertised rents, they told me I would have to move units every three months in order to get the lower prices. What??! Its not like it is easy to move a room full of furniture. If you are looking for longer term storage, this is NOT the place for you. Additionally, staffing is minimal. When I was there the other day, there was a sign on the office door "Out to lunch. Back at 12:25 pm". When I went back at 12:30 the time had been altered to 1:00 pm. I had to wait about 2 hours in order to talk to someone. Then later that afternoon, I stopped by the office again to return a lock I purchased from them (which broke the first time I used it) and again, there was no one there. I just shrugged and left $20 bucks poorer. Cannot recommend.

We used this Eola Road facility in Aurora, IL for almost three years until we moved. Always clean, and the staff were always available during business hours and helpful and polite. We recommend this location without reservation.
