What reviewers say

AI generated

Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers truly love the wide variety of affordable, high-quality fragrances that closely replicate expensive designer scents without breaking the user's budget. Consumers frequently mention that their purchases arrive very quickly and are securely packed with protective materials, making the overall shopping experience extremely satisfying. However, some customers also noted that shipping times can sometimes be quite slow, and customer support occasionally fails to resolve issues satisfactorily when delivery mistakes happen. A few other people experienced frustrating problems with incorrect items being sent or received bottles that required several weeks of maceration before smelling correct.

What people say

And then I opened the bottles...

Maybe it's just me, but I just don't understand all the great reviews. Now before I go further, let me say that I did not have any problem with getting my order, as it seems, is what many of the lower star reviewers are complaining about. My order arrived in a timely manner. In fact, I was very excited to get it. And then I opened the bottles... I purchased two versions of a very popular scent, of which I own one of the very first batches. Unfortunately, it's getting to the end and I was trying to chase the unicorn and recapture that magic scent that is no more. And when I get to the end of MY bottle, it really will be no more. So from all the reviews I read (and watched) about DUA's versions, they were supposed to be spot on dupes, just of different batches. Well, talk about a let down. Not only do these two versions not smell ANYTHING at all like the original they were attempting to dupe, they don't even remotely smell good. In fact, they smell awful. I have tried them on my skin– awful. I have tried them on clothes– awful. I tried letting them dry down– just as awful. They don't, in any way, smell like the original, not even the bastardized new batches of the original that smell only like a shadow of its former self. If you haven't guessed yet, I was searching for a dupe of Aventus. So let me cut to the chase, these ain't them. As I said, I bought two different versions from Dua and neither come even close. They smell like chemicals and bug spray. But like I said, maybe it's just me. I regret buying them, don't know if I am going to be able to sell them online, don't know if I could actually do that to someone else, so I will probably just toss them and take, yet another hit, trying to get back what probably will never be again, the smell of original Aventus. Finally, I can't speak to Dua's version of other scents, but if you are like me, don't waste your hard earned cash on their versions of Aventus because I think you will just be disappointed, and poorer.

I've not had much luck with cologne

I've not had much luck with cologne. I used Paco Rabanne Sport for a while and then it was discontinued. I then went to Davidoff Good Life which I used for a few years until it was also discontinued, and I've been looking for something similar ever since. I believe that Great life is the nearest I've ever smelled (It's not the same) but near enough, so I'll be buying some more.

Great product. Terrible shipping times. Good response from customer service …

I’m very happy with the product and the customer service did respond to my inquiries in a timely manner. The only thing is it took so long to get the product! Many weeks before I got the product so I did contact customer service and they responded but it still just took a really long time before it was shipped

This is a complicated company to review

This is a complicated company to review and this is the first time I have had a disappointing experience with one of their products. Dua replicates high end, famous perfumes. I have purchased about ten times from them and I would say 8 out of those 10, I was satisfied. Sometimes I buy their duplicate and compare it to the original, which I also have. As others have said, shipping is very slow, so I assumed this is a company based outside of the United States and certainly get their product from overseas somewhere, likely Asia. I have been patient so far and never had to contact them. They say they are in Montclair, California and Los Angeles. My latest purchase, for over $60, was a complete fail. The product came slowly but it was so weak that I could barely smell it. The original is pricey, granted, but there is no reason to buy from Dua unless it smells like the original and has enough potency to actually smell it. They present their perfumes to be extract strength, which should produce a strong sillage and projection. This one had neither and was weaker than a cologne. Now my dilemma is, should I ever trust buying another perfume from them? I don't think I can, sadly.

Save yourself the hassle. Terrible

I ordered from this site for the first time over a week ago and my order still has not shipped. I reached out to customer service and they responded two days later that they would expedite my order or something like that. I'm actually going on vacation and if this bottle comes while I'm on vacation it's going to sit outside in 90° weather which is unacceptable. Trying to get my order canceled but it doesn't seem like they're going to do that. Should have looked into this company more before I made a purchase. You live and learn I guess. Who knows when the bottle will ship or when I will even receive it. But I would recommend nobody buy from this company. They have excuses as to why it takes so long to prepare an order and if you can't get things out in a timely manner then you should probably not be in business. They're just way too many other options out there that will ship your things same day or next day at the latest. Not to mention there's virtually no customer service. Trying to get a hold of somebody is like pulling teeth. One of the worst interactions with an online company that I've had.

Does not smell the same

After waiting 3 weeks my package is finally I mean supposedly delivered today. This is diabolical because we support and help keep this business running and they’re so lazy with shipping and so nonchalant about you package. This is my last and finally buy, they have lost a faithful customer I will never shop with dua brand again, the way that’s it’s going it want be in business to much longer because they’re forgetting we’re keeping them in business and they do not care about the customer and really they ripping us off. Update 7/17/2026 just recd my perfume and it do not smell like the other perfume I been wearing Valaya de Marley for a year and it’s not the same or the tribecca bond no9 total rip off

Poor customer service for international…

Poor customer service for international customers I received a faulty fragrance that wouldn't spray properly. After sending video proof, The Dua Brand offered a $42 store credit instead of a replacement or refund. The problem is that shipping to the UK costs around $40, so the credit is almost entirely used on shipping. They refused to cover this cost, leaving me to pay extra to replace a product that arrived defective. If you're ordering from outside the US, I'd avoid this company. Their customer service was poor, and they weren't willing to provide a fair solution for a faulty product. In my experience, the fragrances also didn't last as long as I expected. I won't be ordering from them again.
