DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CHINESE COMPANY!! The hair is not human hair. It’s that synthetic silky doll-like mess. I am having a hard time getting a refund. They keep sending me ridiculous emails that I need to send a picture so they can solve the problem. My sending a picture won’t make me like the wig. I am not giving up though. I am reporting them as fraud and using every resource to get my money back. I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY. THIS IS A CHINESE COMPANY ROBBING AMERICANS. Update: October 14, 2023. Though I DID receive a full refund after “standing my ground and holding this company accountable,” I STILL DO NOT recommend purchasing wigs from this company. It is very true that they are based in China. We can argue about what is “human hair” but the hair is very much the texture of baby dolls - that shiny plastic-coated type of hair. Perhaps this is what the “Chinese” call human hair. It is NOT African American human hair. Though the Web site does not say they have “African American” human hair, the Web site photography and model choice does! Even if this hair is at first human, it is coated with some artificial product that SMELLS horrible. I believe this company is targeting and exploiting African American consumers and pay the models on their website. Notice most of the models are young African American girls/ladies (some of which could be fake photos copied from other Web sites! I read about this going on and some of the faces ARE on other sites). At any rate the quality of the hair is nothing like the pictures suggest. Also, they will try to give you the run around about your return. Going back and forth about sending them a photo to help resolve the issue. This makes no sense! If you don’t like the hair, sending in a photo won’t change that. Then they offer you $20 dollars to just keep it. Nope! Then they tell you that you have to pay shipping back to China which is very expensive. Nope. Nothing in their return policy states: 1) you need to send pictures before you can get a refund, and 2) you have to paying shipping TO CHINA (yes, they say you have to pay shipping, but the reasonable expectation is US. If not they should disclosure that). They are doing business as a US company and therefore they should have a US return address. I insisted that they provide a US return address and they finally did do that. I paid $8.40 for the shipping (included tracking so I could know it was delivered). Then they sent me emails after the wig was returned that they would also refund my $8.40 + $15.00 to take down my bad review. Again, exploiting what I think they think are African American consumers who can easily be bought off. I don’t need $23.40! It is worth more to me to share the truth about my experience. There is a reason, these wigs are so cheap. You get what you pay for! Don’t waste your time nor send your hard earned money to this Chinese company. These wigs are no better than what you get from any local wig/beauty store. This is the entire saga and my rating stands. Ladies, be informed and care where you $$$ goes.

Sorry for bring you unhappy feeling. We checked all our email records. When you said you want to return the item, we asked the reason, which is very normal. This is the first email. Then we said we want to see the hair’s picture, because we need to confirm the hair’s state before returning. You can check our website about our return policy. When you refused and we kindly explain the reason why we asked the picture. Then you refused, we respect you and then we said we can apply return. all these conversations are in 3 emails in total. Then we suggest that you to try it because we’re confident about our item. We said we can accept return with full refund or keep the item with partial refund $20. Returning goods to China takes time and money, which is true. We just told the truth. You refused and we sent you an address in U.S directly, which is our friend’s address. We’ll pay the shipping fee by ourselves for the hair back to us. The whole issue was solved in 1 hour because we have different time and you replied slowly. We don’t think the story is entire saga. We wish we could update the pictures of our emails here but we can’t because the site doesn’t allow. When we got your negative review first time, we’re very confused because we thought we did our best to help you solve the issue. Then we contact you and we refunded you at once after your return package was delivered. We did say we wish you could remove your review because you keep saying with words with discrimination, which is impolite. Not sure why you update so much unreal comments. You may buy the hair from the website for the first time. You can say your story freely and we respect each buyer. But all what we want to say is our hair is 100% human hair. we don’t think we do anything wrong with your whole shopping experience. We will insist ourselves and do our best to make each buyer more satisfied.

Honors Their Refund Policy
I have been ordering from the Tinashe Hair Company for years and they have always had GREAT customer service. If you return a wig within 30 days they DO honor their refund policy and refund your money to your original form of payment; this is RARE with overseas hair suppliers. I have returned 2 wigs to them in the past due to accidentally ordering the wrong one, and they refunded both orders in full. They are always kind, efficient, and respond quickly to messages on the WhatsApp and via email. The only issue I have with them is that their hair & wigs tends to shed a lot but the density is ALWAYS thick. I will continue to support and order from this company. I would recommend their wigs, bundles and other hair products to others.

Not satisfied. I ordered a custom 6x4.5 glueless HD lace wig. I emailed them for a custom size and I reminded them of my custom size on the order note. I measured it when I got it because it was sliding back on my head and clearly didn’t fit. It was a 5x5 closure wig that measured 21 inches when I asked twice for a 23 inch 6x4.5. It also already had a hole in the lace. I emailed asking for a return and they refunded me $10.

I ordered a skin like hd lace13x6 22in body wave frontal wig. I received a 13x6 regular lace wig. I haven't even taken time to check the length because the lace is not what I ordered. They state that the skinlikehd hd has invisible knots, I can see every one of those fat knots. When I contacted them they offered me a $15 cashback and are insisting that the lace is hd. Like I have never had a hd lace before.

Have ordered from Tinashe hair for 3 years now and my experiences have not changed. I'm not experienced with hair and need affordable and reliable vendors. The quality lasts with good treatment, their prices and discounts are great for begginers on a budget, and the shipping is always super quick and on time. My only trouble I run into is the cap size 😭 luckly it's easy to fix to my size
NEVER BUY FROM TINASHE
I just received my wig which is supposedly made of 16 inch human hair. I received a 12 inch synthetic wig that I paid nearly $160 that has nothing to do with the description or the Tik tok reviews. I then contacted the seller for a refund. The return costs are my responsibility and amount to $80. If you pay these fees you are not even sure to receive your refund or that the wig arrives at the warehouse. This brand and customer service are totally unprofessional. 0/10

You can use La Poste to ship the hair, which won't take too much. And we promise we'll full refund you once we got your return hair.
The hair was soft and beautiful
The hair was soft and beautiful. Very natural. Now I don’t know if it is the wig fabric or the hair, but my scalp became very itchy and my skin, face and ears became textured with little bumps. Now keep in mind that my reaction to the wig could just be a personal thing so don’t let that discourage you from purchasing. By the way, this reaction to the wig happened 6-7 days after installment. When I washed the wig, it got better so I’m assuming I am having an allergic reaction to the wigs fabric.
Good hair for 3 days
Hair was great and beautiful AT FIRST . After about a week the shedding became HORRIBLE and I used little to no heat I literally leave hair trails everywhere I go if I brush the hair huge clumps come out this wig will definitely only be able to be worn one time it already came on the thinner side so now it’s definitely BONELESS I’m very disappointed won’t be purchasing again ! Hair also feels like it’s blended some human some synthetic

Terrible product and terrible customer service
I made a purchase which ended up been trash. I was told to return so they can process my refund. I shipped the hair to them since March 29th. Tracking details shows the package has been with customs since April 10th and no update on Canada post website. Canada post is also investigating. Tinashehair is refusing to return my money as they know why the hair is with customs but they have refused to tell me anything. Here is the message I was sent when I asked why the hair is still with customs - The package was detected by the customs, dear, they won’t release it to us. We’re trying to submit materials, but they won’t accept. If we got the issue solved, we’ll let you know. What was detected? It was hair that was sent, it wasn’t anything bad that was sent, what fowl play is this company trying to play? I need my refund, I have sent you my hair, you have confirmed it’s with customs for whatever reason best known to you. Send my money to me. Very terrible service. After my last review, I was told to delete my comment that they will refund my money. I said refund my money, I’m not deleting any comment yet.

Also you never remove your last review right? We respect your personal privacy so we won't write your returning tracking number here. But you can track the tracking number by yourself. The tracking clearly shows the package is holding in the customs for days. We do business for years and we won't cheat any of our customer. As we all know the package will be detected by the customs sometimes, which happens sometimes and no one can control. We promise we'll refund you once we got the return pakage.
No Glueless Wigs
The wig is cute, but it is not glueless. The hair also shed a little just after washing the smell out. I do not recommend if you’re looking for glueless. This is the first and last purchase. Both wigs are true to length, but the deep wave is more like a kinky wave and its not even worth a glue install bc of the kinkiness. It’s impossible to wear this as a glueless and Im a Maryland licensed cosmetologist. I dont even want to get on the lace….this vendor’s hd lace is more like a transparent looking lace. If Im not getting a full refund for the purchase the vendor needs to stop emailing me.

I loveeee this hair so much
I loveeee this hair so much. The bleach took to the knots, the hair is so soft and no shedding. It looks very good on me. I took away a star just because the wig didn’t fit my head (ig I have a big head) I also felt like it was a little thin and needed more hair at the transition between the lace and the other tracks. I still love it though. I got the 13x4 22in. The customer service is great too because I accidentally put the right address but wrong state and zip code and they responded to my email the same night I ordered and I received the wig in less than a week.
Bad return policy
The quality of the hair is good. However, I may not be ordering from Tinashe due to the return policy. Basically, you are told to email customer service where you are then given a lot of hassle and ultimately told that the international shipping cost for the return is too expensive. They also removed a review I left on their website leading me to think they only leave up positive reviews, which is deceiving.
