Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers really appreciate how easy the programming process is, noting that it saves them considerable time and money compared to expensive dealership prices. People frequently mention that the replacement keys arrive quickly, fit properly, and work exactly as described with simple instructions to follow.
However, some reviewers were not happy with the product because it completely failed to program or work properly on their specific vehicle models. Consumers also noted experiencing major difficulties trying to reach human customer support or getting stuck in frustrating loops with automated systems when problems arose.

Bottom line, wrong device ordered for my specific truck. I received what I thought was the right device on recommendation made by automated response to data entered. Received device but after several views of recommended videos, and attempt to program multiple OEM and generic remotes, all failed. I did some further investigation and found that due to my truck having 4 doors, I needed a different device. Upon contacting Tom’s, a smooth transition from returning and ordering was very impressive. I will follow up with this another kind review when I, hopefully find success. My new order is on the way.
All directions were clear and easy to follow. The AI support system (both on the phone and email was incredible. It quickly delivered the right info on two occasions. Also, Tom was able to create replacement keys despite my car having Lojack. The local hardware store said Lojack would prevent them from cloning my keys.
End result: a new working key without paying the dealer price. Yay! Car: 2012 Subaru WRX. Dealer price: $550
The only hitches in the process were:
1) no instructions for the photos of the existing keys. Why three photos?
2) When programming the new keys, the Key Genius app didn't make it clear that you must also program the existing keys at the same time or they'll stop working. This caused drama and excitement.
Claire was responsive and clear with what was needed for me to get the right photos submitted.
My impression was that there was back n forth between my photos and the key cutters. I fet supported in getting what was necessary submitted. The pop up bubble support actually supports here! All pleasant. More after my key arrives.
