When I asked for explanations of the solutions provided, the responses lacked clarity and depth, making it difficult to fully understand the material or apply it in a practical, real-world context.
Based on my experience, the service has not provided sufficient value for the cost and, in its current form, is not worth the investment. It has also not met the expectations set at the time of purchase.

Run! Dont do it!!! Sub par tutors. You will get a reoccurring bill regardless if the student used all the sessions in a one month period. And it is (nearly) impossible to cancel. Dont do it.

Extremely deceiving tactic that automatically signs up you up for recurring billing with no way to cancel your membership or even remove your credit card before the next billing cycle hits and then they refuse to refund even 1 day after it renews. They make it fast & easy to sign up, but require to make a PHONE CALL to cancel the membership. No way to cancel in the online portal or even using their chat service. Your credit card can also not be removed to prevent unauthorized charges. Beware!

They don't tell details while selling you the services. eg-there is automatic renewal, so your card gets charged; they say price guarantee ;but if your kid does not like the tutor, they DO NOT refund your money even for next cycle.
They will charge you for next month even if you have balance hours from previous month. And they will not tell you while selling you the services. HIGLY DECEPTIVE sales tactics and pushy salespersons.

Varsity Tutors did a great job of matching me with this specific tutor.
Humera was very knowledgable, professional and patient. Her tutoring session was well structured & she knew how to break down the material so I could understand it. Varsity Tutors did a great job of matching me with this specific tutor.
I enrolled with the expectation of being matched with a credentialed teacher, as communicated at the time of purchase. The assigned tutor did not meet that standard, and despite multiple follow-ups, the issue was not resolved before sessions were scheduled to begin.
While the representatives were responsive, the process lacked follow-through and alignment with what was promised. I ultimately canceled due to this mismatch and delay in resolution.

Horrible!! Literally try anything else, giant waste of time no one ever actually shows up to the confirmed sessions and needs shut down. Total scam! Poor students!

Varsity touter is a helpful resource for students who have problem with math or other subjects. I highly recommend this resource for all students at school because in my own experience I see a big difference in my children grades after enrolling them into Varsity tutor. The teachers are professional and take their responsibilities seriously. I am very happy that I have found this helpful resource and see my children improvements.
This program is a scam! I got charged for services I did not receive despite a cancellation and an acknowledgement for the same! Please be careful not to give this company your credit card information.

Platform could be better. Screenshare problematic.
Had some problems with their screen sharing feature. If you have a 2 screen computer, you cannot use the same screen that you logged into. If you do, the screen goes into an infinite loop, with multiple screen share windows. You have to do this from a different screen. Unfortunately, their tech support are not aware of this glitch.

Unbelievable. They placed me into a tutoring session that I did not sign up for twice. I was auto enrolled into more tutoring hours then requested. You can't cancel online. You have to call and then when they finally answer they try to sell you into how they run their operations. Our tutor was great! Don't do it unless you have unlimited funds.

The tutor has a lot of patience working with my daughter and knows a lot about the subject. She has also been gracious handling our household distractions from other kids and technical difficulties while I'm not tech savvy at all.
My experience with Varsity Tutors is exactly what I paid for, and that is having a great and experienced tutor to help me prepare for taking the NCLEX. I highly recommend Angelica if you are studying for the NCLEX as she is super knowledgeable, punctual, and adds fun to the tutoring sessions. I do want to mention that I was paired with a different tutor before her who cancelled on me quite a few times - but Varsity's process of requesting a new tutor was smooth and easy and I was paired with Angelica within 24 hours of requesting a new one.
