Alex at the 1955 S Sheridan Blvd location is BY FAR the worst staff member at any gym I have ever attended. She initially tried to befriend me, but after she failed to follow through with her words on a personal matter, I set strong boundaries & let her know I wasn't interested in befriending her. She IMMEDIATELY grew resentment for me, in fact right when she turned around had their not bet one of the trainers to "catch" her emotionally, I'm pretty sure she would've completely flipped her lid.
I ran into a guy at King Soopers who recognized from this "gym" from the dancing / positivity energy I always put out. He asked why I didn't go there anymore, I shared that Alex pretty much conspired with the squad of (as far as I could tell) strictly female coworkers to do this, good job! #FEMINISM 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
When I mentioned Alex by name, he said he had a weird experience to where she asked him to leave a review specifically mentioning her. He said that he did & when he saw her again, she acted like she didn't even acknowledge it. He said he's from the south & where he's from that would not fly.
tl;dr : Staff's mentality is ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS & they are letting the Karentocracy run the politics of this place. If you sign up for their membership, beware if you don’t pay the full year. They will not let you back out of your membership under any circumstance. Even when you move or if you have emergency finances. They’ll send you to a debt consolidator; Aldous & Associates, and they’ll call you 3-5 times daily and threaten to destroy your credit over 200$. Even when asking for an invoice so I could confirm I wasn’t getting scammed, I was told I couldn’t receive one. What a scam.
The VASA on 115 in Colorado Springs has had broken equipment for over four months!! Why are new gyms being built when the current facilities equipment can’t even be maintained?? This needs to be corrected especially when we are charged annually for maintaining the facilities and equipment

We tried canceling through the app, and through phone conversations with customer service. At one point I was told the cancelation was completed. Later began getting collection calls from their lawyer Aldous and Associates for money we already paid. Eventually this $90 disputed amount was reported to the credit bureaus. What a garbage, predatory move. I regret ever joining this gym.
I have had nothing but problems with VASA. Customer service is always less than helpful. I had my account frozen as I am student and do not have the time or resources for a member ship at this time. I received NO notification that my membership was "unfreezing". I did however receive an email charging me for fees and a month of membership which I have not used as I did not know it was "unfreezing." My husband is a loyal member I was prior to going back to school and would be in the summer. There is also a new location opening by our house which we were really excited about. But this is unethical. and we will both leave if the issue is not resolved.
Place is ridiculous. Always bomb packed. I started just under a month ago and hated the place for being so busy. Decided to go somewhere else and they charged me $125.00 to do so. Place is a joke. Run the other way. Plenty of better gyms in the area. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these crooks.
I have been going to the Littleton co Vasa for four years. We have a new maintenance kid. I call him The Kid. I have watched him and he is the best they have ever had. I hear many people make comments how good he is. He listens to our concerns and gets right on the issue. Things are running so well him as the Maintenance Kid!!!! Thank you so much.
Do join it's horrible. They give you a good price at first. But then they say to take free evaluation so that you can more than 300 a month. The trainers come late. They tell you you can use the in body scan but if you try it has a code they won't give to you. Every kid you add is another fee. I was paying more than 500 for basic plan. They use it as an excuse so you pay a lot without any services. The machines are always full. And the staff is rude they don't help they are only there to majd sure you scan that's it they don't know anything. It is everyday experience. I wish k never joined I could bought home gymn cheaper. But do what you want but head warning.
I liked the gym, and the membership contract does contain their pricing policies but regardless they still make it overly difficult to cancel and I would not suggest it to someone who is not sure they will have the membership for 6+ months.
Terrible company. Even if your son gets hurt and you cancel because he can't work out, they charge you with no exceptions or refunds. Not only that, they charge you an additional month and hit you with a cancelation fee. I have never seen that in all the gyms that I have worked out in. What a rip off
What used to be a gym with availability for classes and machines has quickly become an example of corporate greed. How many members do you possibly need? Since January, classes are full and it's hard to sign up at peak level classes such as 6 am. In addition, so many people are flaky, and don't show up, taking spots from people who are consistent about showing up. Instructors are great, and it's too bad that less than a year since the gym has been open, I have to look for a gym where I can get a work out in.
Was told by one of the assistants that if I buy a the one month free membership the only fee I would be charged is the $25 cancellation fee. However I was then charged for the following month even though I was told otherwise. Ended up being charged $73. This gym is scamming you.
awful gym just cancelled today after hours of trying to figure out. ILL BE THAT PERSON. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 0 STAR RATING I WOULD. AND I DONT LEAVE REVIEWS EVER. They give out cheap memberships to people who don’t even care to work out they just sit on the machine for an hour while you’re waiting on it. I wouldn’t be surprised if i found out the gym hadn’t been cleaned since opened. used to love going on the stair master but it stinks of BO and you can see drips of sweat from other users all over the stairs and down the sides. Scary gym equipment it’s old and i fear i’ll injure myself using them. sticky plates that just slam down during sets. PACKED ALL OF THE TIME. If you’re going to allow that many people to have memberships at least make the gym 24 hours so it’s not condense like that. sitting shoulder to shoulder with sweaty people in the sauna and steam room. haven’t used any of the amenities really because i doubt the cleanliness of everything in there. I’ve been going there for over a year and it’s only gotten worse and worse. wish i never signed up with them. shoulda just gone to summit. If you’re a women there’s creepy dudes lurking and they are not there to work out. i’ll copy and paste this on every single one of their review accounts. i’ve worked at planet fitness and didn’t even like it but would pay them with my first child if it meant i would never have to walk into vasa fitness ever again.

If I could give no stars I would. Sign up for new membership on there no fees until March and they charge your bank the full fee! Even when you go to cancel they refuse to refund your money! Scam artists!
The VASA gym itself is great! When you cancel your membership VASA is very sneaky. They don’t document cancellations and on their app they have a way to cancel a membership and not guest privileges. I looked at the app and realized I was paying for guest services still, so I cancelled the guest privileges. The text agent asked if I had an email to prove it? Seriously?! She knew they don’t send emails. Because, I didn’t take a screenshot and couldn’t prove it, I had the yearly fee and other monthly fees in addition to an extra month after cancelling my membership. I cancelled in December and was told I’d be charged the last time in December and was charged in January as well!
How ridiculous and unethical. Just know you should watch your bank account for added fees. Like I said they are sneaky!
