They developed a distinct culture centered around rice cultivation and hair care. By using the nutrient-rich, Longsheng rice and rituals passed down mother-to-daughter for centuries, the Red Yao women have developed a completely natural method to achieve long, strong, healthy hair that doesn’t grey with age. With only 300 tribe members remaining, we feel it our responsibility to share their story with the world. We work directly with the Red Yao villagers to source their rice, at a premium, to add into our shampoos and hair care products. We use the same Red Yao techniques and rituals, developed over centuries, to hand-make and craft our cosmetics. Due to economic pressures, the Red Yao traditions are vulnerable to extinction within a generation. I've tried the shampoo, co dictionary, and now body bar...all have left me feeling clean with no apparent residue or build-up...no soapy aftermath like typical bars. The scents are lively and I feel the lather in the shampoo and soap is fantastic while also lasting a long time making it a good value. I subscribed to make sure I'm always stocked and ready and I don't generally commit to a product like that. You're not going to get unreal quality AND bargain-basement prices...but you will get reasonably-priced, high quality products made with great values!

I've been using Viori for several months now and I don't think I'll ever go back to liquid shampoo or conditioner. My hair has never felt softer or healthier and I really do believe that fewer gray hairs are coming in (I'm 63). Hidden Waterfall is my favorite scent but I'm also fond of the Native Essence (unscented) bars as well. I'm hooked and I'll never go back to liquid!

Smells great! After using 3 times my hair texture turns very smooth and shiny. After 3 months 5-7 times a week wash, my baby hair keeps growing and my childhood natural spiral curl was back strongly.
Measure happiness is having bouncy healthier hair after suffering post COVID symptoms such as fall out hair and see thru to head skin. It was amazing recovery with these product. I tried all different kinds of chemical hair grow stuffs, but everything went worse. These product are trusted and natural. My hair is originally really thin light hair, but now I don't even need styling for volume. Actually I have healthiest best hair ever entire life!

I love the shampoo and conditioner bars. The Hidden Waterfall scent is amazing and very moisturizing for my long, color treated, hair. I've been using Viori for 3 months and my hair has never been healthier. Even better than buying expensive salon formulated shampoos.
The only item I don't like is the bamboo soap holding boxes. Water does get in and the shampoo gets soggy/melts away. I ended up ordering a compostable soap saver from a different brand.
