Fast Delivery
We had a water problem & ordered a needed part paying for 2 day delivery unaware that the part was not kept in inventory. We called to check on delivery & found it would take up to 3-4 days for them to get the part. I explained our situation & was told they would see what they could do for us. Although it took longer than the 2 days we thought we would receive the part in, we received it in 3 days. We were very pleased & would definitely do business with American RV again.

I needed a new motherboard for my rv furnace. I had already had the problem diagnosed by a professional business, but they wanted to charge me $164.00 for the part and $62 for the labor. I told them I did not have money for the part and they showed me how to replace it when I did get the money. I called American RV and the part was $110, so I ordered it and I saved myself a bunch of money on the part and the labor. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

Parts Request
I found the overall experience good. I had ordered parts for my Atwood stove (wires and ignition switch). When I received the parts the new wires were all one length, where the old wires were different lengths, so I was not able to complete the repairs. I received a prompt response when I contacted customer service about the wire issue. It was requested that I provide a model number for the range. The issue I had is I had to take the stove apart again to lift up the range top to gain access to the model number. I was not asked this when I ordered the parts. The model number should be easily accessible or should be requested when ordering. I also requested written instructions for the repair. I was sent an email stating I just had to remove a few screws. This was not the case. I would order again but I guess I need to be precise with what I need and I can not count on any instructions.
