"@chuwi_official 1.932€ Paid - Laptop received in warehouse 20 days ago - NO RESPONSE

"@chuwi_official I need an immediate solution for Order #ES7176. You received my laptop in your German warehouse on Jan 3rd (Tracking CZ041983445ES). You promised a replacement in 5 days, but after 20 days of silence and sending me empty emails, I still have no tracking number. This is a 1,932€ workstation for my firm. Give me an update NOW or I will finalize the VISA chargeback today. #Chuwi #Scam #ConsumerRights"

Nice store, just some details.

Like the content; it’s very complete. The store is well-integrated and easy to explore, but the pop-ups are quite annoying. Occasionally, the site redirects you to the global page and then back again, repeating the process unnecessarily. It would also be helpful if more information were provided about international delivery costs.

Their laptop is off-gassing something…

Their laptop is off-gassing something constantly. Got a Minibook X, not worth the lung irritation. Was originally offered the laptop as compensation for the shoddy manufacturing. Was taken off the table, and offered $30 as a refund instead. Strange yo-yoing by the company. Left a 1 star review, a donwgrade for the 2 star I had put previously. Will be returning the laptop.

A CHUWI CoreBook Failure — Poor Quality, Poor Support, and Serious Design Flaws

Purchased: CHUWI CoreBook (Feb 2025) Outcome: Failed within months after being left unused for only 10 days. Quality Issues The laptop died simply because it sat idle for a short period. Meanwhile, my 20-year-old Dell XPS still boots after years of inactivity. CHUWI’s hardware clearly lacks long-term reliability and proper engineering oversight. Customer Support = Non-Existent After sending videos, serial numbers, and everything they requested, CHUWI’s only solution was: “Send it back for repair at your own cost.” No replacement battery, no alternatives, no help. When I pushed back, they ghosted me completely. Serious Data Security Concerns CHUWI designed the CoreBook so the SSD cannot be removed without voiding the warranty. This means you must return the device with all your data still inside. For a modern manufacturer, this is unacceptable and raises real security concerns. Terrible Internal Design CHUWI included a small “upgrade hatch,” but it only gives access to the RAM — not the storage drive. Most users choose their RAM and CPU upfront. The storage is the part you run out of over time. Yet CHUWI made storage inaccessible without a full teardown. It doesn’t feel accidental, and it certainly doesn’t inspire confidence. Influencer Hype Led Me Here I trusted an online tech creator who praised the CoreBook, but influencers don’t deal with the consequences when products fail. Lesson learned. Cheap Brands Often Cut Corners This follows the same pattern I’ve seen before — including with a CFMoto motorcycle that looked great on paper but fell apart after its first service. CHUWI’s spec sheet is the bait. The real product is not what it appears. Final Verdict Laptop died after 10 days unused Support demanded I pay for return shipping No removable SSD (your data is trapped) Poor quality control Ghosted by support Misleading design Hype doesn’t match reality I strongly recommend paying slightly more for a reputable brand. CHUWI is not worth the stress, risk, or disappointment

I bought a Mini computer

I bought a Mini computer. The computer is slow and the screen isn't as Adjustable as advertised. The brand restricted my presence in Social Media because it cares MORE about how it's seen by the general people at large than laying all the cards on the table that applies to all time periods ESPECIALLY after time sold period. Because the computer was so overwhelmingly bad, I have it in the box. I will never ever buy any item (No matter how next-generation the to-be items will be) by this brand as long as I live. Beware!!!!!

Don't buy CHUWI

Don't buy CHUWI. Stay away from this company! They are based in China, which makes absolutely everything incredibly difficult once you need real support. If you expect their products to last more than a year, you’re on your own — they will not cover anything, not even if you’re willing to pay for after-sales service. I bought a CHUWI CoreBox X with an Intel Core i7 (not a cheap device by any means), and when I reached out for support, this was literally the reply I got: > “Chuwi offers support via email for consultations and after-sales support and 1 year warranty on its products. Sorry, your order #8909 is out of warranty. We are unable to offer further service for your order. Hope for your understanding.” Unbelievable. No help, no options, no willingness to offer paid repair — nothing. Just a flat “out of warranty” and goodbye. Extremely disappointing experience. I will never buy from them again.
