What reviewers say

AI generated

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the highly efficient and straightforward process of successfully securing flight compensations after major airlines initially refused their compensation requests. People often highlight that the dedicated support team maintains clear communication, handling all necessary procedures and regularly updating clients throughout the entire duration. However, some customers also noted that responses could be extremely slow or that communication completely stalled during extended legal proceedings. A few reviewers were dissatisfied when their claims were unexpectedly declined or closed as soon as the airline rejected initial demands.

What people say

I highly recommend Flightright!

I highly recommend Flightright! They have a professional approach, a fast and efficient claims process, and clear, transparent rules with no hidden fees. For months, I tried to contact the airline through their app and by email, but they simply ignored me. I never received a single response. I submitted my claim to Flightright eight months after my flight was canceled, and they still managed to successfully obtain compensation from the airline. The entire process (from submitting my claim to receiving the compensation in my bank account) took only six weeks. Excellent service! Thank you, Flightright team!!! P.S.: To those who complain about Flightright's high fees: you have a choice. Either you get NOTHING from the airline, or you recover at least part of your compensation through Flightright.

They delivered!

They delivered. It took a lot of time, but that was because of the airline. FlightRight sent me updates from time to time so I knew they were still busy with my case. In the end they took a 30% fee + VAT, which totals to 36% of the claim. It is serious money, but on the other hand, without FlightRight I would have gotten 0 and now I got 64% of what I was entitled to. I would definitely recommend them.

Slow process and unrealiable

I have been dealing with this case since October 2025. I submitted all the requested documents and completed the required template. I was informed that the process would take approximately 4–6 weeks, which I fully understood and accepted. However, after waiting for almost three months without any update, I received an email stating that the lawyers were missing a document that had already been provided. After submitting it again, I had to wait another four weeks just to receive confirmation that it had been received. Since then, despite several follow-up emails with Ms. Takács, I have received little to no meaningful updates. Unfortunately, this is not the level of service I would expect, particularly considering that I am paying for this legal assistance through my private legal expenses insurance. To date, I have still not received the compensation to which I may be entitled, and the handling of this case has been unnecessarily prolonged due to repeated delays and poor communication.

They fought for 3 years!

In 2023 Iberia cancelled my flight from Düsseldorf to Mexico City days before departure and their customer support was useless, so I had to buy a new ticket at double the price. Back home, I contacted several flight compensation companies. All of them declined my case except Flightright. They collected my documents in 2023, and then I heard almost nothing for two years. I honestly assumed the case was dead and forgot about it. It wasn't. In late 2025 they filed a lawsuit against the airline, and in June 2026 the compensation arrived in my bank account. Three years after the flight. Two things you should know going in. First, be patient, if the airline refuses to pay and the case goes to court, this takes years, not months. Second, when a case goes to legal proceedings their total fees are close to half the compensation. That sounds like a lot, but the alternative was zero. I had already given up, they carried the cost risk of the lawsuit, and I did nothing except answer their questions at the start. They fought a case nobody else would touch and never gave up on it. Recommended.

Highly recommended

My case started in June 2025 after Air Dolomiti/Lufthansa completely destroyed my trip. After the cancellation and missed connection, I had to rescue myself by buying my own replacement flight, paying for a hotel, transportation and meals. Although the airline eventually reimbursed most of my out-of-pocket expenses, they kept denying that I was entitled to compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004, repeatedly hiding behind the usual "extraordinary circumstances" arguments, and never disclosing any evidence, hiding behind the classic BS that Lufthansa does. For months I dealt directly with Lufthansa and Air Dolomiti, exchanged over 30 Emails, opened formal complaints, prepared evidence, and spent an incredible amount of time trying to resolve the matter myself. Every time, the answer was essentially another refusal. Only after I transferred the claim to Flightright did things finally start moving. They kept me informed throughout the process, escalated the case to their lawyers when negotiations failed, and continued pushing until the airline finally paid. Could I have recovered a larger amount by litigating entirely on my own? Maybe. But after months of fighting, having professionals take over and actually win was absolutely worth it. If you're exhausted from arguing with an airline that simply keeps saying "no," Flightright is a very solid choice. They were persistent, transparent throughout the process, and, most importantly, they got results.
