Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. Easy to sign up and find the right therapist. Taking my insurance made it possible for me to get counseling.
Grow Therapy Is just what I needed. Their platform says they take mental health seriously and they really do. Since I've started, I can see an improvement in my perspective and outlook regarding my situation. I highly recommend!
Grow Therapy is so easy to use. It is an empowering tool that is more than just therapy sessions. It allows me to expand and focus on items at the same time that help me to heal issues in my life. I love the expanded online interaction in between therapy sessions as well. It helped me find an amazing therapist as well.
My therapist treated me with respect and she listened to me for the first time in a long time. Someone let me talk and they listen. Most of all she did not sugarcoat anything. I like that. I want to be told the truth.
I was leery to use an online service for therapy but have truly enjoyed my experience so far. I found a therapist I connect well with and always leave my sessions feeling better.
For many even today, some still want to attach something negative towards anyone open enough to acknowledge they utilize the assistance of Mental Health Professionals. I am not ashamed to admit that seeking the advice and counsel of any type of health care professional has made my life so much easier. I am indeed a client of GROW. I actually really like that their services are Telehealth Services. My insurance provider actually recommended and set me up with GLOW. Their service, from my experience, seeks to help individuals find solutions to whatever issues they may be discussing at a certain time. I feel extremely comfortable with the staff I have dealt with.
My provider is great, and I look forward to speaking with her every week. But this review is not about her. It is about the way Grow Therapy does business. If they have an issue with your payment or your insurance for some reason, they’re supposed to email you and let you know in advance before they cancel an appointment Several times they canceled my appointment at the last minute. My appointment will be on the website the day before, and then the day of my appointment it will be gone. I do not receive an Email or a message on the Grow Therapy web site that it was canceled or why. When I tried to log on to my appointment with my provider, there’s no appointment there anymore. When you try to speak to customer service, you get a robot. If you ask for a live agent, you’ll get one but only on the chat. You can never speak to a person on the phone. On the chat, they always say it’ll never happen again, but it keeps happening over and over. They claim that my mental health is important to them, but their actions say different. When you have an appointment and you need to speak to your therapist and then your appointment is canceled with no notice, that is not looking out for my mental health. It’s all about the money I guess just like everything else. It is just bad business!!
Hi Karen, Clear communication around scheduling and support is an important part of using the platform. We'd like to look into these concerns further and have requested more information from you via Trustpilot. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to your reply.
Very Thankful to have found a reputable mental health group that takes our Insurance, the placement process has been excellent. My therapist is no nonsense yet still warm & open , she just recently helped me with finding a good marriage therapist. I'm Truly growing in my confidence and feel supported !
Nothing right now need more experience with GT
Wouldn't see me because they claimed I didn't do the intake form. I explained I did them, and asked them to reset it on the portal and have me redo them. They kept saying the forms were there, even though I sent a screenshot proving I already filled out the forms, and wouldn't do my appointment. Don't offer telehealth if you don't know how to use it
Hi Rebecca, Accessing virtual care should be a straightforward process, and we understand how technical issues can create barriers to care. We'd like to review these concerns and have reached out through Trustpilot. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to your reply.
Amazing Professional at The least but by far a 2nd appt heavy hitter in getting into the rapid reload and healing I required and Requested initially. Ready for the work, let's do this together ❤️ Fantastic individual and professional.
Hi Alicia, Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We appreciate your thoughtful comments and your willingness to share your perspective.
She is very kind Immediately gives a feeling of a safe person. I was immediately able to be comfortable and open up to. She listened to everything I’ve said and offered a very down to earth explanation, or simply explained that some things were not able to be addressed at the moment without the other party that was supposed to be involved. I could immediately tell that she was genuine understanding and willing to help moving forward and what would need to be done to dive into some issues I have brought up before she can actually get feedback. I am looking forward to another session with her with or without the other person that was to be involved.
No responses from provider after first visit. She replied 6 days later. No resolution to questions sent in portal. First experience not good. No follow through on calling the pharmacy. Provider Merit seemed distracted somewhere else looking at her phone during our 20 min appt. Billed for 60 min, no psychotherapy so why was I billed for it: Jul 8, 2026, 12:00 – 1:00 PM PROVIDER Merit Nwosu,PMHNP CODE & DESCRIPTION 99204+90833: New pt E&M-Moderate MDM and 16-37 min of psychotherapy -- As of 7/30 they have also tried to charge me for an appt i cancelled on 7/26 for 7/29. When i contact Grow they tell me to talk to the provider.
Hi Britten, Provider communication and professionalism are important parts of the care experience, and we take concerns related to provider conduct seriously. While looking for a new therapist, I stumbled upon the Grow Therapy app and I am so glad I did. Not only have I found the most amazing therapist, but this time, it is covered by my insurance. My last therapist cost over $200 an hour and while I really liked him, I really wanted a woman and I loved the fact you could search their specialties. It's been 6 weeks so far and I am thrilled with my therapist and the results so far.
I really enjoyed every session with my therapist. I love the fact that she’s open-minded compassionate and very understanding.
My experience was already great and now that I had to make a transition in providers, I feel that things will get better
