What reviewers say
AI generated
Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers frequently complained about severe product quality issues, reporting that internal hardware components, batteries, and screens failed shortly after their initial purchase. Consumers also experienced deeply frustrating customer service challenges, noting that support teams were completely unhelpful, unresponsive, and painfully slow to resolve reported problems.
The minority of people were genuinely satisfied with the strong hardware performance, smooth display features, and overall quality of certain devices. A few reviewers even shared exceptionally great customer care experiences, prompt online communication, and fully well-functioning products received during their recent purchases.

Rubbish Support and USB-c port spoil an excellent laptop.
I have an Honor MagicBook 16 bought 16 months ago - for the first 8 months I was very pleased with it - great performance and lovely display. Then I started to get intermittent charging problems so I contacted Honor to let them know. Now it does not charge at all so I sent it to them for repair - They quoted £443! Almost 70% of the new price. As I had told them of the original occurrence of this problem WITHIN warranty I expected them to HONOR the warranty or send a replacement. A look online shows that USB-C charging port problems are a known issue and weakness on the Magicbook models. I am very disappointed that Honor think it is acceptable for a £700 laptop to last just 16 months. As I am an IT engineer by trade I will not be purchasing any more Honor products for myself or work. I have now found a third party who will do a guaranteed fix on the port for just 25% of Honor's repair cost. Any future laptops I purchase I will ensure that the USB-C charging port is on a separate assembly to the motherboard so I can do my own simple repair.
Update: Advanced repair in Bradford fixed it for £114.95.
Just bought Honor magic 5 pro
The phone is very buggy and software pales in comparison to my previous Oppo
Sadly because the camera quality is quite nice
Ordered our Honor Pad 8 online, a superb service throughout. It arrived within 48 hours, packaging excellent and attractive. Tablet works brilliantly and clarity on the 12 inch screen is first class. Excellent service and product.
Honor here's something you should know you need to Move the power button on x7 from the side because when holding the phone
It's easy to just accidently turn off phone. I do it all time. Maybe put it on top
I just recently purchased the new HONOR MAGIC 5 PRO. My phone came very quickly and was delivered by DHL who followed my delivery instructions. My phone os absolutely stunning. I had no problems with this company what so ever. There's no need to avoid them like some bad reviews.
I had an issue with my Earbuds Pro 3 disconnecting from my devices, contacted customer service and within 10 seconds I was talking to a real human (no bot in the meantime!!!!!!) and Diana B. helped me with resolving this super quickly. Thanks so much! Brilliant C.S!
Have had Huawei phones for years and plumbed for the old sister company HONOR so I could get Google still!! WOW the honor magic 4 Pro is absolutely the best fantastic camera super fast charging wonderfully quick. Battery not as good as Huawei mate 20 Pro but forgiven by the speed of charging 10/10 thank you. Really don't understand the poor reviews I would recommend to anyone 😊
HONOR makes customers pay extra for HONOR's mistakes? Unacceptable behaviour
I'm only leaving 2 stars because Diana from customer service was empathetic. Everyone else was not.
I bought an Honor70 in November 2022. Just recently in February 2023 this phone was stolen by a pickpocket. I made the decision to re-purchase the same phone. I am a loyal customer.
At the time, I was visiting the UK so tried to order from Hihonor.uk. My payment would not go through so I turned to customer service for assistance. I was instructed to try it several different ways: Use a UK card and try again, use a different UK card and try again, clear cookies and try again, try again from my phone instead of a web browser, etc. Nothing worked. Finally they decided that the multiple attempts must have blocked me from ordering. I started this process on a Wednesday afternoon and by Friday I still had no answer from customer service. I lost out on a lot of time and on the deal that was offered.
However, I work in customer service and in the event that someone has an issue ordering within the valid period of a sale BUT they are in contact with our team to resolve it, we always honour the promo price for them because it is quite simply the right thing to do if you care about your customers and their shopping experience with your brand. HONOR on the other hand clearly is not bothered.
Admittedly I went back to Spain where they have a different website, but let's not pretend that the highest level of management for both the UK and Spain aren't the same person. If there is not one central level of management then they would be different companies altogether. Sorry, but that's just obvious. So while it is not COMMON to handle something across the different sites, it is indeed POSSIBLE, you simply have to want to help the customer, unlike HONOR in this case.
I was told the best they could do was offer me a 20 EUR promo code. However, Customer Service agent Kristian (it's spelled with a z somewhere but I don't recall exactly) offered me the 20 EUR voucher AND the 5% code for signing up to promotional emails. Logically he meant I could use them together, (especially since 5% of the total price was MORE than 20 EUR--why would they give me a unique code that is worth LESS than the generic discount offered to everyone who signs up for the mailing list? That makes no sense) but in fact that does not work, only one promo can be used. It's fine if he made a mistake in assuming they could be used together, but when I told this to customer service they tried to make me sound crazy which is really uncalled for when I am trying to spend money on your product. HONOR appears to be happier to lose out on 377 EUR than simply give me a promo code for 72 EUR to rectify this simple situation.
They stood by the fact that in Spain I would be getting additional gifts. While these are worth money, but that would entail me putting in the time and effort to sell them in order to get the correct price I would have paid for the phone in the first place if customer service had been able to assist me properly from the outset. So you are putting the onus on the customer's head to pawn items for cash when realistically you could just give me the code I asked for and keep your extra gifts for yourself (as it is the website states "while supplies last", so save these for someone who wants them and give me my discount).
At the end of the day I have not yet bought a new phone because I was holding out on a favourable response from HONOR. With no further response as they have decided this promo code was "the best they could do", I am now writing here in hopes that upper management will take seriously this lack of professionalism from HONOR's customer service team. There has evidently been a lack of training which led to them suggesting so many different attempts to purchase which got me blocked from purchasing. Then there was a lack of training as I was told I could use 2 promos together, this was false. Then there is a lack of training in how to respect a customer's time and loyalty (I should not be punished for your team's lack of training). And lastly, being made to feel stupid by your team when really you are the ones being unreasonable is actually pretty embarassing on your part. This whole experience has reflected very poorly on HONOR's customer appreciation I feel really disappointed.
I'd like to give HONOR one last chance to make things right and email me a proper response with the promo code I asked for. Let's be clear that my Trustpilot rating is for my CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE based on interacting with the customer service team and not the product. I would just like to have the purchase I tried to complete for the price I tried to complete it for. I entered into a sales agreement with HONOR and their own incompetence caused me to lose it. Unfair business, but with the chance to fix it.
Thanks!

After years with Samsung phones and rubbish battery life decided to switch to honor.
Just bought the Honor 70 wow what an amazing phone looks just like the premium brands with a curved screen etc but not a premium price.
The battery is amazing overnight it looses about 2% compared to the Samsung which often lost about 20%!
Super happy with the Honor and will definitely be sticking with Honor.
bought my wife a new Honor 70, and the experience fron start to fin was great, the phone is very user friendly, very easy to transfer files and apps from her old phone, the phone has a nice feel about it and the onscreen fingerprint is much better to use than the one on the power button, we are both in our seventies, normally we have to wait for a stray grandchild to pop in and hope they can be bothered to set up a phone, so this was great, thank you Honor x
PS
thanks for the gifts xx
Bought a laptop magic book x15 on 5th September 2022, was working well until last night as it just powered off and won't charge. I have called customer support who have said they will take in for repair. Lets see what happens. Really annoyed as I should've stuck to HP Laptops.
I've had 4 honor phones all great, I've had the 9 lite the 8x the 9x and now the honor 50, I did want the X8 but decided on the honor 50 as its 5g, not sure why there are bad reviews I've been really happy with my phones and only had a problem with the 9x it stopped receiving network, sent it back was repaired and back to me within 5 days, the phones are great but unfortunately since the leave of huawei they no longer use kirin chips which used a much better emui in my opinion, the snapdragon 778g in my honor 50 can handle anything I throw at it, great work honor still pumping out great phones at great prices even after leaving Huawei
Ordered Earbuds on a Saturday at an incredible price, they were distributed on the Monday via DHL and received Tuesday! No issues with delivery or the performance of the earbuds 2 weeks in
Really surprised at these reviews, I've had two honor smart phones and patiently awaiting the Magic 3 which is due to be released next week. I bought both phones from Carphone Warehouse and not had an issue with either, value for money and quality of product is amazing. I'll stick with buying their products elsewhere as it seems their online store leaves a lot to be desired and that's a real shame
I was in the market for a new smartwatch and finally settled on the Honor Magic after scouring YouTube for an hour looking at reviews and at £50 it seemed like a steal! I was a bit sceptical when their site didn't accept PayPal but after a quick search their payment method seemed legit. After a working day or 2 there was no update on my purchase so I decided to come on here to see if there was anything from anyone else, and to my dismay I saw the horrible reviews. I emailed them and expressed my concern and was told it will probably be a couple more days. On the eve of one week since my order I was planning on emailing the next day to cancel and request a refund when an email from DHL came through to say they had a package for me. The package didn't mention anything about HiHonor and I didn't receive an email notification from the site. The next day the watch arrived as well as an email from HiHonor with my invoice and confirmation. Cannot fault the watch itself, really is a bargain for the money. I just feel they should make an effort to reply to a few comments on here because they will undoubtedly lose business over these shocking reviews as well as making the order/delivery procedure a lot more efficient. If you're in any doubt pay a little extra and go through amazon but otherwise waiting one week isn't too bad, even it was a week on edge.
Ordered a laptop from them, which arrived quickly and has been brilliant. Have now ordered a phone from them for my mum, which was dispatched very quickly. Very happy with their service and no idea why their rating is so low!
we bought the honor magic book 14 , arrived quickly ,safe packaging and wow we are surprised about this little, lite weight power lap top. Perfect smooch value for the price easy to use lit to carry with you. Just all around good designed and working laptop. The service Honor gave answering our emails within less then 24 hours made us happy too.
