Despite my following instructions to the letter, iMyPhone did not recover the one WhatsApp chat I accidentally erased. The company did try to avoid a full refund, but my support person, Sara, was exceptional. Despite the "fine print", she handled my case on an individual basis and I received a full refund when the product didn't work for me. Thank you, Sara! Addendum: I wish to make clear that this is a review of my support person, not of the software or the company. The software didn't work for me. The company basically said it was my fault. Sara was amazing!

I would give it minus stars if I could! They’re a scam company just out to steal your money. I opted for a free trial to see if the software would serve my purpose and it didn’t work at all, so tried to cancel the trial. It asked for my user id or order number and both were coming up that they didn’t exist. I tried contacting the company and they said they cannot cancel the subscription (£50) as I selected “deferred payment”. I didn’t select anything, there was nothing for me to select. The company keep saying they are not a scam and offering me different % refunds but saying they are unable to refund fully as it doesn’t give them the option to. If they are able to refund 50%, there is no way they can’t refund 100%. DO NOT BUY!!!

I tried this WhatsApp migration tool four times and every single attempt got stuck at the encryption key step. I recreated everything multiple times, including backups, and still no success. After wasting hours, I switched to another tool that worked instantly. Support refused a refund and instead asked me to spend even more time providing logs and details. I paid for a working solution, not to debug their software... Save yourself the frustration and use a different tool.
