What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently reported frustrating encounters with unhelpful customer support, lengthy waiting times on the phone, and unexpected price increases on their monthly bills. Many individuals also struggled with unreliable network coverage, frequent dropped calls, and unexpected connection issues following recent company transitions. However, some reviewers were happy with the knowledgeable and polite store staff who consistently provided patient and attentive assistance. These customers truly appreciated the dedicated professional support they received during their direct visits to local service centers. People noted that dealing with representatives in person was often much better than handling issues over the phone.

Their spam recognition is literally a joke. Nine out of 10 calls that it labels as spam are just individual people who aren’t telemarketers that use their phone a lot. Service goes down frequently

Typical Corporate

TMobile entered into a contract with me to provide phone service. They gave me a "free" phone when I signed up. TMobile sold me a service they could not provide. The connectivity at my home is so poor the phone cannot be used properly. After long drives to the store (30 miles round trip) and speaking with customer service on separate calls (in addition to in store) TMobile has admitted they cannot provide the connectivity they contracted to provide. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and tried to be helpful, even charging me only half my monthly fee for one month as I am not getting full service. However, TMobile has done nothing with regard to my having to find a new service, driving to town to deal with TMobile and myriad issues I have encountered due to lack of connectivity. To top off everything I have to return my "free" phone when I switch carriers, as though I was the entity who breached our contract. What an unpleasant experience dealing with TMobile. Again, everyone has been friendly, but they are not the ones with unusable connectivity or having to now shop for other service. I didn't get a free phone or any type of descent phone service from TMobile. I don't recommend doing business with TMobile. They sold me a service they cannot provide and I am the one left expending time, money and effort with no repurcssions on the TMobile side. I don't even get to keep my "free" phone.

Please do not purchase any Ray Ban glasses from T-mobile because they do not tell you if anything happened to them that you have to go thru Ray Ban yourself to try to get them replaced if not you are stuck with some 300.00 glasses that you can not use so please don’t purchase any from them. I’m stuck with a pair I had for a month. My name is Dennis Freeney 865-221-6471 please call me before you purchase any

If I could give you no stars I would

If I could give you no stars I would. Service, both cellular and wi-fi were great in the beginning. It was December though here in northern MN. Come mid May, wvery5ibg tanked. No cell service (I live 3 miles from town and 50 miles from Fargo. AI says it’s the increased population here (lakes country and population doubles in the summer). The in-store staff in DL probably the worst group of people I’ve ever encountered in a customer service role. Trying to get someone on the phone but they’re too busy. Nothing works except dialing 611. I had better service with my prepaid Verizon on this very same phone. I will be gone asap if you’re thinking the price is too good to be true for cell service and home internet, it is.

overcharging bill

Honestly, I have no major issues with T-Mobile; their service is decent. However, I've experienced instances where they overcharged me by as much as $20. While that wasn't a huge concern at the time, things have recently changed. My latest bill shows charges reaching over $100, which is absurd. What justifies this $100 overcharge? It's quite ridiculous...

Very disappointed in t-mobile's…

Very disappointed in t-mobile's customer service. I put up with hour-long wait times on several occasions, but the most recent fiasco was different. T-Mobile charged me for international calls to the tune of $192 -- even though the calls were made: 1) using WhatsApp on WIFI 2) while I had an international plan....they also charged me for the international plan even though I was in the US and had cancelled it! It took over an hour to reach someone on the phone and when I did, she didn't speak English well and said she would have to make an appointment to call me back in two days. We set a time. She called two hours early leaving a voicemail saying that the charges were legitimate....completely ignoring everything I had said. I called back to supply proof that they were made with WhatsApp on WIFI, but after being on hold for over 30 minutes decided it was time to leave T-mobile. I switched at AT&T, where fingers crossed things will be better. At least the support person I spoke to was in America and a native English speaker! She assisted me very competently, which was never the case with anyone on the phone at T-mobile. THE PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THE T-MOBILE STORES ARE FANTASTIC, though. Too bad the customer service by phone is so terrible.

Have lost Internet service the past 3 weekends…

Have lost Internet service the past 3 weekends. Always got told oh there is a tower down service be restored in 4 hours it would not be restored for 48 to 72 hours. I called yesterday 8/8/26 and the lady said oh I don't know why they haven't told you we don't have service in your area. I said funny I've had it for almost 2 years never had an issue till you all merged with US Cellular now service totally sucks. Was told my bill would be compensated for the down times haha NOT. Looking into other providers

Leaping off a cliff!

I thought there could not be a worse customer focused cellular provider than Verizon and switched to T-Mobile. I regretted it within three hours. Bottom line is they’re all terrible, just pick your poison but at least I had phone service with Vzn. Now I have to put myself through the torture of changing back to Vzn.

Horrible experience

Sketchy service, rude unintelligible customer service reps, when I switched back to Verizon they continued charging me. After paying a Collection Outfit am still receiving "Offers" to take more of my money from other low I.Q. debt collectors. You'd be severely mentally challenged to hook up with these scam artists.

The service itself is good, customer service awful

The service itself is good, generally, unless you’re in National Parks or very rural areas. International is good. Customer service is a horrible experience and you can wait hours and give up before getting through to a human ant the AI chat is mind numbing. They will raise your price when others are dropping costs. We just left them after many years due to another price increase.

If I could give zero as a rating…

If I could give zero as a rating that is what I would choose. I’ve been with T-Mobile for years and I’ve been miserable. With this last problem that I waited an hour to talk to somebody but no one answered the phone in customer service - I have decided to leave and go to another provider. This decision has brought me so much peace and I cannot wait to spend my day switching phone service to someone else! Somebody should open a phone service called ”anyonebutT-Mobile” as I’m pretty sure they would have a ton of customers! Also, they have had my name spelled incorrectly since day one of this account. I’ve tried to correct it at least five times and have still it is wrong!

Switching to T-Mobile: 6 hr process - hell!

I switched my family from Verizon to T-Mobile. It took 3 days and over 6 hours on the phone. No exaggeration. The biggest circus I've ever seen. Started with a "Senio" agent of over 12 years starting the process. Took my activation fee for 6 devices and started the process. Assured me it would take about 15 minutes. When I had to go to an appointment after 45 min he assured me he would call me back the next day. He didn't. Took another 5+ hrs of people from call centers who had no idea what they were doing. I was transferred to so many supervisors, each one made more mistakes. They even ported 2 of our phone numbers to the same phone. Then when they tried to fix it, they ported both numbers to the other phone. They started the ports, disconnected us from Verizon and then our call got disconnected and we couldn't finish the process. They didn't tell me what to do before the call disconnected. Anyway, biggest shitshow ever... the only two people who were worth anything (i was on the phone with at least 12 different agents) were the two guys from tech support. The porting specialists knew nothing. They ran into problems with the porting process and would constantly say "I'm very sorry. This is out of the scope of our work here. " So, porting process was out of the scope of the porting specialists. They finally got me to 2 tech support people who knew everything, even how to access promotions, use the TLife app etc. In addition to getting our phones to work. Oh one last thing. After getting 5 of our lines to work, we got disconnected for the 5th time or so, and the agent who i got when I called back said id have to go to a store to get the 6th phone set up with esim because they can't do that over the phone (even though we had done it with 5 devices already). She transferred me to a supervisor who said she had no idea how to do it because it was out of the scope of her work and that's when I finally got transferred to tech support. What a joke. Welcome to T mobile. On a good note, they are supposedly paying off 4 devices at Verizon totalling $2100. We will see how smoothly that goes.

Just don't even waist your money they unchange monthly, there is no fixing it once they bill you the extra just a promise the following month it will be reduced just to have it get up charged again. The 611 people are unhelpful and unwilling to fix the issue till you pay the extra 13 plus added without permission or to your knowledge
